If only happy hardcore of today still sounded like this now! Although it started to get cheesy by around late 1995/early 1996, it was Nakatomi's "Children Of The Night" that really killed the scene for me circa late 1997 onwards!
I agree with both of you. I think Dougal and Hixxy were probably the worst offenders at the time. I did like the bouncy stuff that Brisk played through 96 though.
The Rane TTM 56S looks pretty sweet (If you have a spare £600-£700 floating around). I've had the same Stanton AL500s Carts/needles for about 10 years now and they haven't failed me yet. I find that they're a bit more forgiving than the concorde type needles.
quality mix, sounds crisp, ive got a shitty berhinger djx700 mixer n sound quality is fuckin shite lol, tunes like these are wicked to mix with, gota get a new mixer
I am a big fan of Impact, although I do love the stuff that was being released on Kniteforce, J.A.L and Universal at the time also. Thanks for the comment will try to get something new uploaded soon

95 was the last great year of happy hardcore for me. 96 it all started getting tooo cheesy as if it was taking the piss out of itself.
Great tunes mixed very nice!

@Electromachines . . Bang on mate, no disrespect to the track but Toy Town was the first of those cheesy tunes in my opinion.
