  • And thus the giant was awaken.

  • USA knew and wanted the Japanese to attack them, that's why they moved all new and expensive ships out before the attack,Turned off all radars and reconnaissance.Had 2500 of their own people killed .So they could inter the war.

  • @varnaut Oh you and other idiots out there stop making this stupid theories up.

  • @The2Coolest2 Not a theory! Learn your history yank!

  • These are miniatures right?

  • Pearl Harbor is good

  • @innos10 Hay fuck you bitch

  • I think you need to PLAINLY state in your description that this is not actual footage of the Pearl Harbor attack. It is clearly almost entirely recreations with models and a bit of made-for-a-movie footage of aircraft.

  • the pres sounds pretty pissed off 1:24

  • it was the japanese's fault! america doesn't start/didn't start any wars!

  • I remember this bad day, the radio was flooded with all of this while it happened. This is something I will never forget.

  • @mapleboy28 Wow, did you not read what he wrote?

  • NO NO NO NO i wanna see the really footage

  • Have you noticed how all these fighting scenes are made from miniature models? I'm not laughting at it, it really seems legit.

  • Americans are retards. Deal with it.

  • Comment removed

  • A lot of this footage is not from the real attack but the Japanese movie about the outbreak of the war, "The War at Sea from Pearl Harbor to Malaya" which was released December 7 1942. The footage of Battleship Row and the attacks on the airfields are model work, not real footage; some of the aircraft footage is also model work but other parts are real. Other bits are possibly from the John Ford Pearl Harbor wartime 'docudrama'.

  • I used to care about people that can't take a joke, then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • We got owned by the japs but then i took an arrow in the knee.

  • only 2400 killed and americans still cant get over it

  • @Jussi453 You are totally missing the point. We do it to honor those that died, not because we aren't over it. Remember, Japan is a close ally of ours now. If we hadn't "gotten over it" they wouldnt be! I love Japan and the Japanese. But that doesnt change what the previous generation of Japanese did. Same with Germany. I have been there, the people are great! But it doesnt change what happened before.

  • @SirReptitious What happened before is truly sad, it was a world of chaos and the word could not be controlled. The Japanese couldn't avoid war and they said so before they attacked Pearl Harbor. The thing that annoys the world so much is that in most chases Americans ignore the people killed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki but instead cry about some soldiers dying on a ship. Just like today, why not memorize the 650.000 dead in Baghdad. Instead they treat the murderers like heros.

  • @OttarErOsom 650,000 is a lot of people to memorize.

  • @xxecksizxx Those were only in the capital. Up to 2.5 - 3 million have been killed by Americans in the Middle-East.

  • @OttarErOsom Yes, you are right that Japan had kind of been backed into a corner and was forced to act due to sanctions and such. As for why the US "ignores" the Japanese killed by A-bombs, the answer is simple. Each country memorializes their OWN people, not their enemy. Japan MEANT to kill people and property at Pearl Harbor. The US MEANT to kill people and property with the A-bombs. It would be hypocritical to do something you meant to and then apologize!

  • @SirReptitious No, it would be called forgiveness. Forgiving the mistakes our ancestors made and honoring others like you would honor your own. Look at the US soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan the same eyes as you would Al-Quaeda and the victims of US bombings like the victims of 9/11. People are the same everywhere and I'd rather honor 250.000 civilians in Japan than 2400 soldiers in the US navy.

  • @OttarErOsom Of course you can have your own opinion on how you think things should be remembered/honored. I was just explaining to you why it is done the way it IS done. I think that Japan and the US do not "forgive" each other over what was done, but they DO understand WHY it was done. It's a fine line of distinction, but it's there. I have the utmost sympathy for the ~30,000 tsunami victims, but not for the A-bomb ones, because that was war. That's why wars suck big time!

  • @SirReptitious This world needs to change, people need to learn that all lives are equal and some aren't worth more than others just because they had more thing in common with you or because their family's rich. Example of that is when in Britain 3 prostitutes were killed and no search for the murderer was made, but as soon as he murdered a suburban mom he was currently the most wanter individual in entire Britain.

  • @SirReptitious Then what about the USA? The people are great now, but they dropped two nukes on two cities(just to test the nuke)....not military targets.

  • @Gauldoth03 Yes, our use of 2 atomic bombs resulted in a huge loss of life and misery for the survivors. But unfortunately, civilians ALWAYS die in war along with soldiers. Hiroshima was targeted for its industrial importance, which is indirectly linked to military supplies. Same with Nagasaki, except that it was the "alternate" choice, since the first was cloudy. They were not tests. We had already tested them in the Nevada desert. We knew they would work.

  • @SirReptitious But you north americans retaliation were much worse than the japanese attack. I know everyone suffered in this war, but who can't forget is Japan, people still suffer the consequences of radiation

  • @llAgent47ll Yes, that's true. But dropping A-bombs on Japan was never meant as retaliation for Pearl Harbor(we retaliated for that by using regular bombs on Tokyo a little while after Pearl Harbor). The A-bombs were meant to END the war. The Japanese had vowed to fight to the last man, and they meant it. The US estimated we would lose ~1 million men invading Japan, which was too many. By using A-bombs, there were FAR fewer people killed in TOTAL(both sides) than if we had invaded.

  • thats very true and u stated it well we also gave warning on the a bombs im sick of these japanese people saying americans r sick people because there emperor was an idiot

  • @SirReptitious The bombing of Hirishimo and Nagasaki were war crimes... HIGHLY populated civilian cities. Pearl Harbour was a NAVAL base... tokyo was a CITY densley populated with civilians. My country are Allies of the US.... however we know you are cowardly pieces of shit with low morales when it comes to human life... hence why we like being your allies... thank you for your ruthless and largely ignorant populace that helps run the war machine that keeps us safe.

  • @SirReptitious I completely agree with you. And the same goes with the United states of America, what they did to Naggasaki and Hiroshinma was one of the worst historical war crimes to have ever occured. I love Americans, but it doesnt change what has happened before.

  • @Jussi453 Dude, don't get it twisted...we got over it just after we dropped a couple Atomic bombs on the country that deceived us. Trust me, we're over it. We just choose to honor those who were mercilessly and deceptively killed that day. Where are you from? Has your country been attacked like this? Are you and your people over it??? Don't be a dick.

  • @MrJdgarfield His country HAS been attacked like this. His channel says he lives in Finland, read up the facts about the Russian invasion into Finland. They are over it, during and after the cold-war. Millions were killed by Americans for an attack on 2400 people, much like now, 3000 people get killed in some buildings and you take it out on 3.000.000 innocent civilians.

I choose to honor the Japanese, they were civilians, the US. soldiers had it coming.

You are being a dick in denial.

  • @OttarErOsom we were neutral at the time of the attack so what does that matter. Your obviously a hippie, or a foreigner that if u live in the states need to be removed cuz nobody wants u here if u don't understand our ways...and those ways are retaliation on the countries that do us wrong.

  • @offmarketmarine Maybe you don't understand the value of the life of people. You obviously believe that some lives are worth more than others. I am a foreigner and I speak YOUR language better than YOU'RE doing. You are not educated the slightest and have no clue as to what is and has been going on in this world. You're like a cow that blindly walks into the slaughterhouse because "Hell, life has been good for me so why would this be bad?" and not looking for a reason not to go there.

  • @OttarErOsom Perhaps you should be thanking Americans and our bravery. If it weren't for brave souls like my grandfather sticking their necks out in the face of formidable danger to storm beaches and machine gun emplacements, you'd all be speaking German right now. Me? In denial? Not a chance!

  • @OttarErOsom oh and as for the 3,000,000 we supposedly killed with our Atomic strike...it ain't the first time in the world's history a race of people had to be taught a lesson. Lesson is, don't bring a knife to a gun fight.

  • @MrJdgarfield You are obviously the American stereotype, have no idea what you're talking about yet stay proud of what you don't know. You barely made a difference in WWII, when you got to Europe Russians were already taking Germany. You, sadly like so many other Americans are proud of genocide because your ancestors took part in it. That's the reason to celebrate Thanksgiving right? If you were German you'd probably be a neo-nazi because you'd be so proud of what your people did.

  • @OttarErOsom Barely made a difference in WWII??? I believe American soldiers liberated Paris. I believe American soldiers liberated Belgium. The Americans LET Russia take Berlin. That's historical FACT! My family didn't come to America until the early 1900's so my family can't be blamed for what the Pilgrims did. Additionally, just because I'm proud my of country and what it's military has accomplished, doesn't make me a party to genocide.

  • @MrJdgarfield There's allot your military can be proud of. Burning children in Vietnam, bombing families in Baghdad so some oil company can rob the middle east. Russians got to Germany before America got involved in Europe. Hitler didn't even care about Americans but he was scared shitless of the Russians as well as when he ordered to burn his corpse he said it was because "he didn't want to end up in a Russian museum".

  • @OttarErOsom How about all the cases of rape on the part of Russian forces upon their invasion of German villages on their way to Berlin? Gonna overlook that? Sure, American soldiers are guilty of atrocities, but so is EVERY army on the face of Earth. You're giving people the power of weaponry, putting them through horrific circumstances, then expecting them to be humane to the enemy. Nobody is innocent in that respect. NOBODY. Hitler didn't care about the Americans?! You're crazy.

  • @MrJdgarfield Hitler wasn't afraid of them compared to how he fared the forces of the Soviet Union. America doesn't have an enemy except for the world, what reason was there to get involved in Iraq. 3000 people? If that's the case you have multiplied your revenge by killing millions. An example of an army who has not committed crimes is the Swedish army. They have stayed in their own country for home defense only and that is something America needs to learn. Send your troops back.

  • @OttarErOsom Yes, we retaliate to the fullest extent. What were we supposed to do? Turn the other cheek and just let it happen? Do we look like France to you?! We don't lay down our weapons and scream "SURRENDER!". We FIGHT! We right the wrongs against us. Perhaps YOUR people should be doing something about the Al Queda problem rather than counting on us to quell the issue. Because as long as those pukes are around, believe you me we will be waiting to shove our boots up their rear.

  • @MrJdgarfield The French did the right thing to surrender. You obviously have no idea about the slaughter in WWI and how many lives that caused France. Americans are the true cowards, using wealth to get an unfair advantage.

Also, Al-Quaeda is not really a problem and never was. This terrorist group consists of about 200 people and they can't do shit. You are actually helping them, they are anti-American and now that you enjoy killing civilians the world has turned against you.

  • @OttarErOsom Hay bitch fucktard, learn something. The cowards? puff, get off youtube. What wealth do you speak of dumbass. We were still recovering over our economic problems, and we were rich in supplies which we supplied to our Allies, so go learn something dumbass.

  • @The2Coolest2 Let's just put it like this. In the first 3 days of the Battle of Sonne in WW1 there died as many British soldiers as Americans in WW1,WW2, the Korean war, the Vietnam war, the war in Iraq and the war in Afghanistan put together and just as many German soldiers died that day yet Americans continue to praise how "brave" their soldiers were.

The main reason for Americas economical problems is how much the government spends on war for oil and make the people they swore to protect pay.

  • @OttarErOsom

British DEAD @ battle of Somme 95,675

American DEAD for WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq (2003) and Afghanistan (2003) 623243

  • @GeneralChase Those numbers were only from the first day. 623.907 casualties, 419.657 British. I read an old article about how they suffered more casualties than American soldiers in WW1, WW2, Korea and Vietnam. I took Iraq and Afghanistan and added them in because I figured that in a war for oil there would be fewer dead. My mistake, but you can clearly see the sacrifices the British did in WW1 overall was still greater than all of America's wars combined.

  • @OttarErOsom I was just trying to show you there is a difference between casualties and dead. casualties include dead/ missing/ wounded (mentally and physically). Though you are still incorrect. British casualties on the first day were 19,000 killed 38,470 wounded / captured. I'm not saying it wasn't a horribly terrible day I'm just trying to promote awareness. Yes British, French, Italian, and Russian people paid a terrible price in a terrible war.

  • America may have came late but we provided the finale muscle to defeat the Germans. and bring the war to a much earlier end. If you really look at it ww1 should have never happened but that is a debate for another you tube video comments section.

  • @GeneralChase Think about the difference a few votes about what language should have been spoken in America could have caused.German was almost elected the official language of the US and had that happened Americans would have sympathized with the Germans in WW1,France would be German,a Kaiser would still rule Germany, the Soviet Union could have been prevented,Hitler would have never risen to power and WW2 would have never started.Perhaps something worse could have happened though, none will know

  • @GeneralChase Great sacrifices have been made by all in these horrible wars but ever since WW2 Americans have been wasting their soldiers and not to mention the innocent civilians dead because of greed and political views. The bomb on Hiroshima was only so some few men would step down from the government.

I was trying to make the point that Americans give their own soldiers way too much credit for something that others did the most part in or somethings that can just be considered warcrimes.

  • @OttarErOsom I disagree while there some horrible people serving in the U.S. military most of them are good people. Its just that bad stories get a lot more publicity than good stories.

  • @GeneralChase In war, the only good story is when it ends.

  • @OttarErOsom The entire world hates the US, but who does EVERY country's gov't call on when they need help? Who do they call on when their cities are ravaged by natural disaster or invading/occupying force? That's right. The USA. We didn't ask for any help on 9/11 nor was any offered by ANY nation. But we have no problem sending our fathers, brothers, husbands etc to help out you ungrateful people EVERYTIME. Only to be greeted with disdain and hatred.

  • @MrJdgarfield Americans don't understand that we don't want you, we don't need your help. We were doing fine until you decided to invade the Middle East as well as you haven't "helped" for shit. The Swedes are helping by using their military to clean up the shit you left behind in Iraq and Afghanistan. THEY are helping, you are sending your "fathers, brothers, husbands ect" to get oil for some company and this war is just increasing your taxes. Do you now understand why we can't stand you?

  • @OttarErOsom Perhaps next time, we'll just let you all blow each other up rather than risk our necks for you. My dead best friend who killed himself upon his return from Iraq would echo my sentiments I'm sure.

  • @MrJdgarfield Next time we can blow each other up, we don't need you to do it for us.

  • Ever heard of the Bataan Death March? Not a whole lotta humanity in THAT little fiasco.

  • @MrJdgarfield Have you ever heard about the Gaza Strip? The Napalm strikes? The 3 million killed by Americans in the Middle East? The money American corporations are taking from 3d world countries causing desperate people to commit murder to feed their families?

What Americans do is kept "natural" to the people. For example, it's "natural" that poverty is so common in Africa. What if it was America, what if it was you?

  • @MrJdgarfield Yes my country has been attacked like this. Allso our citys has been bombed and we have lost big parts of our counrtys in ww2, not like usa.

  • @Jussi453 and for that I sympathize. But you don't get over these things. You remember them and you memorialize the lives lost. We do the same every year because Pearl Harbor was a day that shaped the country we are today. Lots of families lost loved ones. To suggest we're petty for not "getting over it" trivializes the lives lost.

  • @Jussi453 And the Americans relive themselves by killing millions in the Middle-East and Japan.

  • @OttarErOsom Millions in the Middle-East? Come on dude. At least we don't attack people unprovoked. We don't do that. We retaliate and when we do, we exert 10 times the force used against us. Why? Because we can.

  • @MrJdgarfield Actually you do all the things the terrorists do, and worse. In the end America is going bankrupt and the UN is pretty much screwing you over because they have absolutely no need for you anymore as well as their countries hate you. Why? You can start off by watching this video: /watch?v=MQ0x5ZLbeqQ

  • @OttarErOsom Look, there's not a government on this planet who isn't guilty of atrocities to humanity in some way shape or form. Don't blame the people for what the government does. You think we elect them?! Psh, the democratic electoral system was hijacked by people with wealth a long time ago.

  • @MrJdgarfield Try to find something the Icelandic government did, the Swedish, the Norwegian. I dare you to find anything.

The government is not the only thing we hate, the support you show them takes the cheesecake (pretty sure Americans take allot of those).

Have you ever heard the term "redneck".

  • @OttarErOsom if you're suggesting I'm some back-woods hick from Tennessee, you're way off base. We support our troops and what they do because they are people. Like you and me. Flesh and blood. They take orders and follow through or they go to jail or get court-martialed. You think they wanna be their? You think any of them are having a good time? They wanna come home. But they have to be there, so we support them to keep their morale up.

  • @MrJdgarfield You support them for racial reasons. You support them because they are like you. What about the civilians they're killing? What about the harm they are causing to the world? I think they are having a good time? Of course not, but instead of wanting them back with your families you want them to have the worst time of their lives. This moral only increases the hate upon Americans.

  • @OttarErOsom either way dude, I'm done with this conversation. You see things your way, I see them mine. We aren't going to change each others' mind so what's the point in continuing this? There is none.

  • @MrJdgarfield I agree, I have ended up stuck in arguments I have only wished to get out of. Let's just end this little conversation of ours and move on with our lives.

  • @Jussi453 ... we killed 70,000 japs with the a bomb i believe?? dont fuck with the U.S. cuz we are some vengeful motherfuckers

  • @Jussi453 ha coming from a finish fuck who has never seen battle and his country has a shitty military

  • @Jussi453 Hey man... it was a pretty huge a event in US history and it brought the US into WWII soo..... your argument is invalid.

  • @Jussi453 Thats like telling the Jews to get over the Holocaust because it happend along time ago. Get over yourself bro.

  • @Jussi453 The japanese attacked a NAVAL BASE. The US use this as a justifcation for Hiroshima and Nagasaki.... both HIGHLY populated civilian cities. What occured here were TRUE war crimes and possibly besides hitlers murder of 6 million jews and polish people the worst documented war crime.

  • @Jussi453 Your a prick, how can you say ONLY.

  • @Thomas8april 2400 is pretty small number in ww2 scale

  • @Jussi453 2400 people could of had children, an average of 3 each 2400 x 2 = 4800 (because the older generations would have died) 4800 x 2 = 9,600.

    9,600 x 2 = 19,200

    19,200 x 2 = 38,400

    38,400 x 2 = 76,800

    76,800 x 2 = 153,600

Thats 153,600 lives in the time span of 180 years (30 years average for each generation)

  • still less than atomic bombings of hiroshima and nagasaki

  • @Jussi453 you are such a disgusting fag you ho

  • this is rare!

  • @dadvoc666 it's all a joke to you right? ww2? 6 MILLION people died! and you think it's a joke you disgust me

  • @sennny1 I will do whatever I like

the joke was on those poor people who died

the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

back then, no one bothered to speak, now you are seemed to be offended by my comment. But back then, your very ancestors supported this tyranny...

  • never forget

  • a day that will live in infamy
