First off, I'd check your comics in the Overstreet Price Guide (it comes out annually every May) to get a rough idea if you have something that may or may not be worth any cash. Next, you have to look at the condition of your books. If they're key silver age books but they're in really rough shape, then no, they wouldn't be worth sending off. Try taking your stuff to your local comic book store for an evaluation! Most stores are very helpful.

cgc are a joke....their grading is poor at best.......we,ve been dealing & grading books for over twenty years.....buy a mylar or mylite with an acid free they look better and hold the value of the book......when buying a book....if you can,t open it to grade it.....or enjoy it ? why buy a comic....just hang a picture.......cgc are a scam.....and very poor at grading.......
Yeah, 90% of comic book store's jack up the price of their back issue's and over grade them. With CGC you know what you're getting and people like me that buy them have already read the issue in question. If you hate them so much, why are you touring around youtube looking at video's of them?
@bigfnevil You'd be surprised at how many dealers with many years of experience don't know how to grade or detect resto. Ebay's loaded with sellers both experienced and inexperienced who are just dying to sell u an expensive book that turns out to be horribly misrepresented and then ignore u when u complain. CGC has also brought the investment collector into our hobby which is a big +. Certification=consumer confidence=greater return.
That explains everything!... now i can go on with my life.

That was sick, twisted, retarded, not cool, juvenile, silly, rediculous, and just plain nerdy. I LOVED IT!!! 5/5 stars from me.
