is that too loud? im trying to find a good sound for my challenger and i dont know if i should remove the resonators and mufflers or just the mufflers. any tips?
@baileysirmons ya so I suggest you drive a ricer but, you have a 3.5L v6. You probably want to save up some cash to purchase dual exhausts and a cold air intake ..catch can..etc..
Im 14 a girl my parents bought me a 2011 challenger V6 for when I start driving I want it to sound like that. But I don't have duel exhaust. What do I do?
Ok the 2012 charger has the same penstar engine and exhaust right? So if I install the same magnaflow sys like u have with out the resonators I would get the same sound right?
@thebuss111... Can't appreciate it's history because it it is a v6???? You do know the original challengers came with slant v6's right? Looks like you don't know the history yourself...
its nice and sounds good but its a 3.6 in a muscle car shouldnt have bought it if you cant appreciate its history. now the mopar, srt8, or even r/t would be okay but anyways its nice. dont know if it comes with led rear lights but if it does you can go more than 3 coats of vht depends on what you want the finishing look to be. i used 5 heavy coats on my tails check it out so you have a reference. by the way i liked your video...
Those are GTS covers. I am going to remove them and do the more permanent route with VHT niteshades and Duplicolor clear coat. Ill do 3 coats of the VHT and 2 or 3 coats of the clear coat. And there will be no red showing until I press on the brake.
I have a 3.6 challenger and I had them first remove the back mufflers and I drove around for a few days and couldn't stand the loud buzzing in the cabin. Recently I put in 2 magnaflow mufflers in the center with straight pipes to the rear, same configuration as yours. My question to you, whenever you accelerate and the gears change, do you get a little bit of back flow which sounds like the pitch of the exhaust drops low gargles? I have never had an issue with popping
Did you have them spray your tail light with black paint mixed with clear? If so how many coats did they use? Is there any red showing at all under that black out?

On a scale of 1-10 how much better does the car sound with these compared to the stock? also do you have a stock number for the mufflers. Thanks.

Cost me around $340. All I had was the magnaflow mufflers installed and the resonators removed. Fresh pipe was laid from there back. Took an hour.
HP gain I cant say, maybe 5-10 at most. Its not a full system just new mufflers.

How much did the it cost? And whats the HP gain?
