@LetsGoRangers1994Cup Let's not forget what talent they had around them. Gretzky had Coffee, Messier, Kurri and Anderson and Kurri and Anderson along with Gretzky were prolific scorers. They each had 50 goals in a season.! Lemieux's help paled in comparison. Gretzky was definitely great but had Lemieux played in Canada or any original six city, he would have stood alone as the greatest ever. Stats have a lot to do with your team. Lemieux possessed skills unlike any other.

Lemieux is the best hockey player ever. They can say what they want about Orr and Gretzky. Both of them were second and third best ever respectively. If you see Lemieux's goals in this game, all of them are works of art or works of magic literally. If the goalie equipment seems small, well fastforward to 1995-96 when he scored 69 goals in 70 games against goalies with bigger equipment.
