SONAR HOME STUDIO 7 tutorial #4 "Using other artist's recordings"

Micah, you've helped a bit with your tutorials. However, I have sonar Studio 7, and I'm having a hard time figuring it out. Also, I know how to pull mp-3's onto it, but I'm wondering if you edit an mp-3 song on sonar 7, and basically pull out for example the drums to a song, and mix just that recorded drums to something else I'm creating?

@LAMAR2476 you might have to get a digital recorder on your computer and a mic to where you can save it as a file. then overlap it on top of the backing track to get your song. I dont have the software but thats my best guess.
