Hi guys, I wanna buy a Bmw e46. I always used a Bmw e36 318is.

There is no 318is in the e46 models. Which model E46 can I see as follower for the e36 318is???

@12jeLeu You are right. I think about 318CI or 320i from 2002. I make now with 1 liter 15 km with 318is. I hope that the 320i doesnt use to much benzine. You know its a 6 cylinder. 1 liter benzine is euro 1.70 here.

@hopala007 If the engine is running round, and not struggling to pull the body, an E46 320i consume about 10/11l 100km, that if you run normally. If you go aggressive will consume more obvious, depends on how faster you wanna make him run (u already know that). 1.26€ liter of benzine at me but is too much for the salary's around here. Anyway if you wanna buy one you must go with someone that know cars, especially BMW's.

There is nothing sad on this car. The only sad thing is that i just sold my e36 318is m44 but i will buy one again in the future. I know it. It's the most wellbuilt car bmw ever produced. Anyone owned one knows what i'm talking about. It was a real beauty. Never had a single problem. Never broke down. What a car. I would only change it for a 6cyl bmw. Hope on a M3 on the next one. Your car is wonderfull my friend. Well done. Hope you still have it. Don't sell it. You'll regret it just like i did

@jlubez I respect your opinion but i completely disagree. As i said i used to have one. Maybe you are young and you don't remember what cars were like back in 1992 e36 car was released.Ask any bmw enthusiast in the world which bmw is the most well built.He'll tell you e36 without a single thought. My car was a 1997. Nothing in the interior seemed old. Nothing wore out all theese years.Check out an e46 arround 2002 and you will undestand. Now if you own an aston martin then i agree. E36 is cheap

clean e36 with the m3 mods although the checker sticker is a bit rice and the fact you put all this money into the base model.. you could have bought at least a 325is :) and anybody wondering about spark plugs.. i put e3's in my car and they made a in increase in mileage as well as a tad bit of power

Yes spark plugs will make a difference. You throw bosch platinums in and car will run like shit. NGK FTW. Don't listen to the auto parts store

der springende unterschied is der zwischen 318iS und dem Modell ohne S am Ende ;)

8 Ventile mehr und 140 PS unterm Arsch, Alu Motor der die Hälfte wiegt wie son 2,0l 6 Zylinder...

Wrong. You can make them go very fast if you want.

Get a nice turbo kit and you can get 200+bhp, if you do more stuff like better internals etc., exhaust, cams, pistons, shave the head blah blah blah you can get 300+, which is serious power in a car that weighs only 1.05 tons.

@Jolle6666 The m42 (at least on e30's) Can NOT handle 300 hp. as for it being a good car? It is truly great, you wont be amazed by the comfort or the speed or the luxury but then all of the sudden you're in love and everything is just right. You end up spending money though because you treat it as your baby :P I love mine (e30)
