You know it's not a good idea to burn that wood in your stove. That lumber can have chemicals in it that are toxic, and also it can cause a fire in your stove pipe.

@timthompsno19799 Well , here in The Netherlands the use of chemicals to kill bugs in wood and pallets has stopped only HT or Heat Treated wood , so thats what I burn , I know its pine but millions of stoves in the north of Europe ( Sweden , Norway , Finnland , etc ) only burn pine , the only local sort of wood , always burn that with your stove vents open !!

@juna2509 Nee , we hebben hier in Holland het statiegeld systeem op winkelwagens met verschillende munten , 0,50 of 1 of 2 euro erinsteken , ik gebruik zo'n kar om brandhout naar binnen en pc schroot weer naar buiten te brengen , kar terugbrengen en munt er weer uit.

I work for a metals recycler that is branching out into other materials such as plastics and paper, and one of the serious challenges of electronics is the disposal of some of the less desirable stuff it is made out of (lead, etc.).

@chickenofsea Thats still a real problem , most of the electronic waste is recycled in China , but European firms are getting more up to date , so more and more machines are made to seperate all materials but there will always be a fraction that cant be recycled , like in cars.

Dolly Parton had a house near where I grew up in Nashville, TN. I love the computer tip - I had no idea and to think I have been sending all of our PC's at work to the recycler all these years!

@jbrunsonjr I love Dolly's voice , not sure whether she still looks the same as on this album ( hope the airbags are still intact ) , ther's a lot to recycle , as you can see , lots of gold and silver , so dont throw it in the dumpster , but if you do , somebody will be happy , maybe !

@iBundangbear Its not a fortune but most parts contain gold , silver and other rare metals , most scrapyards buy these things seperate at different prices , so dont throw your old PC in the tin scrap ( only the bare body )
