Considering the Bush administration considered that the country was constantly under threat of terrorists, and it probably is, it would make sense to have them ready just in case. Cremation is unacceptable to many Christians, therefore, there would have to be coffins ready in the event of a worst case scenario.
If they fail to fix the economy and it does crash, if one day people simply do not have jobs or money, civil unrest is certainly the most probable outcome. If Executive Directive 51 is enacted for any reason what so ever, massive civil unrest is an absolute certainty.

Civil unrest will be the norm soon. The vast majority of people are changing to service industry jobs making a fraction of good manufacturing jobs. We are the world consumers. We stop making purchases and the entire planet suffers. That is the real issue. All manufacturing jobs are in Asia now with dollar an hour wages. This is not going to change. I could see 10 million people marching on Washington with firearms and taking over with threat of severe violence. The constitution demands it!!

I don't know if they are death camps. But, I do believe that the government has developed the capacity to arrest and detain massive amounts of the citizenry in the event of civil unrest.
Given that they had to know that the economy was becoming unsustainable back in the Bush administration, it only makes sense that they would prepare for such an eventuality.

As to the coffins, yes, I believe that they are real. Considering the Bush administration considered that the country was constantly under threat of terrorists, and it probably is, it would make sense to have them ready just in case. Cremation is unacceptable to many Christians, therefore, there would have to be coffins ready in the event of a worst case scenario.

If they fail to fix the economy and it does crash, if one day people simply do not have jobs or money, civil unrest is certainly the most probable outcome. If Executive Directive 51 is enacted for any reason what so ever, massive civil unrest is an absolute certainty.
When they wrote Executive Directive 51 they logically had to take such steps as would be necessary to be able to implement it if needed. Otherwise, it is just hot air and I don't think they intended it to be hot air.

Where I fall on his economic policies is that they will fail. Obama will not be able to fix the economy because it cannot be fixed. The entire system is intrinsically flawed and never had a chance of being sustainable long term (ie: several hundred years). Basically, it is a pyramid scheme based on continuous growth.
