How'd they do it? Easy!

I just happened to have a pile of 36 12mm dice here lol (don't ask questions)

It's like this:

Make an L on the table with dice.

Then on the bottom of the L - pile dice up straight up. They all need to be in a line.

Now cover an eye & move your head until the tip of the L with no dice is lined up with the tower of dice. The dice laying on the table in video may be slightly larger in the back (yeah, there are different die sizes available )

The second dice from the top on the vertical line is the top highest dice. Follow the path down, and the next two lines of die are on the ground.The back line has just been edited to over lap the vertical line. Notice how much smaller the top dice in the picture is compared to the one right under it. That is because it is actually farther away.
