All you have to do is take your Reskins goggles off, watch the video at 1:40, and see Alstott's right elbow (and the ball) touch the plane of the endzone. It's really not that hard. Give it a shot some time. Maybe then you'll stop being so angry for no reason.

Regardless, it was a gutsy call, and the play was made completely by Alstott. He had almost no help.

For the 2-PC to count, only the very tip of the ball would have to break the plane of the front edge of the goal line. His elbow did touch the ground...however...at 1:02 and 1:16 you can see that as he was falling, he swung his rt arm back, so the tip of the ball would have broken the plane.

Officials making a review have to see conclusive evidence to overturn the ruling on the field. They didn't have that, so the play had to stand.

The Redskins jumped offsides TWICE during the extra point attempt. The 2nd time they got the block. Gruden had visions of Carolina 2003all over again (Bucs trailed 9-3. The BUCS scored a TD, tying it at 9-9 with no time left in the game. But Carolina, who blocked 2 FGs earlier, blocked the extra point that would have won it. The Panthers won in OT, 12-9).

That's why they went for 2.
