Secondly the Galaxy have vastly improved this year as well and in the beginning of the year they were conversations this was the best American team ever. @frendil69 Ok man great they play for New Zealand, I'll name some leagues where New Zealand world cup players play. 2 in the Chinese league, 1 MLS reserve, 1 in American minor leagues, 1 in league one, 4 in the New Zealand league(I didn't even know they had a league), 8 in the damned A-league, 2 in the championship and one in the Prem. Yeah it must be real tought to make the New Zealand national team.

But even though we have shit all professional football players we were just undefeated in the world cup. If you watch the whole of this match you will see that Wellington Phoenix were the better side, but I won't take away the performance of the Galaxy, they weren't the better side in my opinion but unlike Phoenix they took their chances in-front of goal.

I imagine that it's and international requirement, governed by FIFA, and that SC would not be a recognised term as the correct name is Football and not soccer. Soccer is just an abreviation for the "association" of football. hope this helps.

mike, you're probably right. at first watch, i thought it a bit harsh but on review, it probably was the correct call. and it gave becks a chance to score...which was a bit odd because landon normally take galaxy's pk's. this is just an off-season friendly so i guess they decided to give the fans what they came to see. good for becks and good for the fans. all in all, it sounds like the tour was a resounding success.

i still think galaxy looked sluggish, but it is the off-season.
