I just *LOVE* this guitar (not to mention the cool playing!) It's a nylon string, but with a narrower nut? And it's shaped like a dreadnought! I gotta have one of these. Are they available to buy, or is it one-of-a-kind? Love the cutaway, too. No foolin' around, just whack, and they cut off a whole corner of the damn thing. Heh.
@inky960 From Acoustic Guitar mag: " Baldwin 801CP electric classical. The guitar was an inexpensive mahogany-and-spruce nylon-string made by Harmony and amplified with a Baldwin Prismatone piezo pickup. The short 25-inch scale of the Baldwin, coupled with the Prismatone pickup and strung with LaBella 820 red nylon flamenco strings, produced a unique tone that quickly became Reed’s signature sound. Reed owned at least three of the Baldwins, one with a “radical” home-made cutaway..."
@inky960 Luthier Mel McCullough is making a replica model named "Clawmaster" and Sam Kennedy in Houston TX makes the pickup replica named "Prismatone II". The original cutaway was done in a Nashville music store, at Jerry Reed's request I guess. Pretty cool, huh? Just get 'er done. This Craig Dobbins guy is a great player, and really does justice to Reed's memory. Wish I could be a student.

The coolest of the cool. Craig's talent is surpassed only by his character. What a joy to have been a student! Thank you for the post.
