Good for a Fan Film of limited Budget. Actors did well (Hector channeled Kurt very well. The one who played Jack though lost the Channel after about 10 seconds. But I liked the idea to drop him into the scene. But the 2 Genre are hard to blend. Dark/Moody and Dark/Comedy are hard to mix.) Well done and please, if your able, keep going. :)
fuck....i gotta hand it to but that was way awesome didnt expect that cause all fan made shit is gay as fuck but u did something great i have a few projects in mind im a film maker and a writer myself hit me up

U DISERVE TO HAVE THIS REDOIN WITH JOHN CARPENTERS HELP. not saying it sucks. u JUST NEED TO REMAKE IT BETTER an for the THEATERS! someone who knows Johns phne number! TELL HIM
@blinky500 I understand. No offense intended, I was just picking at nits. The character of Snake Plissken is just near and dear to me. He's one of my all time favorite movie characters.
I really liked this a lot! The only critique I have is Snake's voice should be more of raspy whisper. After all, the character of Plissken was John Carpenter's homage to Clint Eastwood. Good work, though, keep it up!
@jacksonteller its very hard to be heard when you are standing in the middle of a loud street, whispering to someone. you have to take certain practicalities into account.
@silvereagle2061 There isn't, but he JUST received his Pardon, so there will still be Wanted Posters up. Which means A LOT more harassment by the USPF, Bounty Hunters (if there are any in the film) and citizens who just don't want the trouble having him around would bring.
I do believe I made comments not long ago, but everytime I see Escape from N.Y or L.A I see this as an actual sequel. Am I the only one who wanna see mr plissken return back to show that noone fuck with him in another vid? As long as they make the script very tight, it will work!
@3choBlast3r its not post apocalyptic. its up and running. new york was shut down and turned into a prison. jersey is part of the functioning united states.
@blinky500 lol dont get me wrong i liked it im just saying you go from the 80s graphics when snake destroys the tape and then todays presnt technology
@blinky500 Hi Chris, long time fan here particularly of your DC superhero vids. Those were absolutely great and will be for all time. Anyway, about your Escape from NJ vids, shouldn't the set background be more a grim dystopian or post apocalyptic? Not trying to be critical, i'm just a bum. Heyyyyy, how about a fallout 3 short film for us die hard fans huh???
(writing this as I watch) wow that guy is flexable, he to got his foot to his face!! ....JACK BURTON!!! ....hehe taller ...NO!!! you killed the waitress!!! ....lol love the back ground music!! ...OMG HARLEY KILLES THAT GUY!!!! ...and its over
So glad i found this rly cool i thought the Jack Burton cud have been a tiny bit more like Jack Burton bt he still was good!!deserves alot more views!!
@blinky500 I've never fully listened to BTILC's tracks, but I've made some replicas of They Live, Halloween, Escape From New York, They Live, Prince of Darkness and Village of the Damned. I was actually going to make a movie just like yours on They Live, but it got canned :( Using Carpenter's tracks is always cool, but making your own is much better!
I'll tell you what that was bad ass. You know the trucker reminded me of Jack from big trouble in little china...lol what a fuckin team up that would be. Nice job, cant wait to see the next part. Let me know if you need another actor I travel...lol
You all do awesome work! I'm a big Snake Plissken fan and wanted to mention that Mr. Hector got Snake's personality down perfectly. Two big thumbs up to this film.
You all do awesome work! I'm a big Snake Plissken fan and wanted to mention that Mr. Hector got Snake's personality down perfectly. Two big thumbs up to this film.
The costumes and props truly were a class A job! The actor that played Snake was a dead ringer. Only as the movie went on could you spot the minor differences between the two.
This must have taken a hell of a long time to make!
Wow!! Thank you guys so much for bringing back a favorite of mine! They should turn Hollywood over to you! P.S. Any plans on realizing your Final Fight film? Thanks again.
Dude, I can't stop smiling. I love this. Chris, you do a great Jack. I'd prefer a "breathier" delivery from Hector but that's a minor quibble. The cop bringing Snake his jacket was a nice touch! Looking forward to more.
You did it again, Chris! Great work! This fits in perfectly with "Escape from New York." I loved the Jack Burton cameo and the tip-of-the-hat to the cast members and crew of EFNY on the back wall of the bar. Can't wait to see what happens next!
I'm not really a fan of the "Escape from..." series, but this wasn't half bad. It'll be interesting to see how you make it into what I assume is going to be a series though.
