What you did this year is the largest accomplishment on the salt ever for a sit on motorcycle since 1948 when Roland Free "Rollie" set the historic run at the famed Bonneville salt flats on the Vincent Rapide motorcycle owned by John Edgar with a speed of 150.313 mph, a full 152+mph slower Mark ran on the same hallowed ground.
All of us racers salute you and your phenomenal accomplishment, other bikes may run faster later however you were the first aspirated 250 mph bike!!!!!
Mark and the team did awesome this year. Thanks also to Bill Warner and Fred Vance for helping in the pit crew. Thanks to Larry for making it all happen!
Larry, Mark Steve.
