Same part failed on my Audi A4Q 2.6 with the ABC engine. Replaced with Hella part no. 6PT 009 107 541 - problem solved.

Ok you are lucky that CEL went away, but what the error code??

awsome trouble shooting bro. ^_^ I have a 2001 A4 1.8T AWM
I have a vag-com also,that i use to scann for TDC's and program my B5 to do certain things. ^_^
