I find this book great, too. But because I read "Body Double" first, I missed Maura. And I find The "Surgeon" very cruel and bloody. It was so creepy.

to this day i will never forget what i saw,and felt .i think about it everyday,i saw evil stareing at me,it wasnt human,the more i turned from it from just fear the more i turned back and looked at him in his face,20 years later to this day i know i saw a demon,nobody else could see what i saw,it brought me to tears.i dont wish this upon my worst enemy! if anybody out there has seen what i seen or felt please write to me,i know im probly not alone
