Well single stroke means you're alternating hands 1 hit each L = Left hand R = Right hand

Basicly you're going LRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLR

If you were to be doing double strokes you'd go 2 hits per hand before alternating so it would be

LLRRLLRRLLRRLLRR

Listen to his chops. He's doing single stroke chops with accents (or at least a little extra effort on every 1st (out of 4) strokes.

R-l-r-l-R-l-r-l-R-l-r-l still single stroke roll. His stroke would sound a lot different

with 2 bounces per hand.

Since Rock Band just registers you hitting the note, not the velocity of your chop, accents like this are a useful tool for keeping in rhythm, especially on rolls.

Just takes technique practice. There are drummers out there that can triple stroke roll on pillows.
