Top 5 animes: DTB, Death Note, Code Geass, Requiem for the Phantom, Elfen Lied... none will ever compare to these. and yeah if you know anymore that are as good as these tell me cause I havent found any in a long time :D

@thefatkid28 hmmm well it depends on what your in to, but it's also pretty obvious sinces your selection. i agree those are all Epic anime, so..... have you ever seen any of the following.... 1. Witchblade, 2. When they cry, 3. Umineko no naku koro ni 4.Bloody monday (i think thats what its called) and 5.school days.(also unsure if thats what its called lol) so check them out and tell me what you think Peace.

@thefatkid28 Scratch DTB and replace it with one of these: Berserk, Great Teacher Onizuka (who said best anime need to be bloodbaths?), Tengen Toppa, Fate/Stay Night, Full Metal Alchemist (Brotherhood or older version, both are great), if you count OVA's then Samurai X, Hellsing Ultimate... list goes on.

This is my opinion.

@ninotata you can try Gunslinger girl (very similar plot and one of the openings is also made by Kokia), Golgo 13, Gungrave, Devil May Cry or maybe even Ghost in the Shell for something more complex.

@ninotata well I would suggest Death Note to anyone who wanted a well drawn-seerious anime with depth and a lot of killing. However it should be noted that there is a distinct lack of violence in most episodes, just a lot of killing (that last sentance will make more sense once you find out what its about).

I hate lovey dovey shows. There were romantic undertones but the blood, intensity, and cunning were never overshadowed by it. I loved every second of this anime.

@catears0987 It's called Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom or sometimes just Phantom. You can watch it on youtube or on the funimation website which I can't link in comments but you just need to search for it. I think the subs are probably better on Funimation but it is the official site so there are ads in the video so unless you have a pop up block like I do it will be annoying. Though the first half is run through a service where the ads can't be blocked.

Thank you for making this AMV, it is in my opinion the best AMV on youtube. Phantom Requiem has a dark tone which I don't think the other AMVs accurately capture when they focus on the action. Zwei is a badass in some of his kills yes, but it's never really about that it's a requiem for a phantom.

It was an alright anime. I think some of it could have been better composed but there were at least a few episodes that totally had foundation. Though, that foundation when first presented in OTHER episodes didn't seem so right.
