  • Southwest=Ryan Air funny flight attendants with rough landings...lol

  • Russian landing gear?

  • Oww i can feel that from new york and after that landing everything has shifted

  • and THATS why i dont fly southwest.

  • i could NEVER land a plane. you have to maneuver this enormous, white, metal monster and line it up directly with a long, narrow runway....ugh.

  • Their flights are too much fun for TVs.

  • Thats why it's a great idea to not stand or leave or leave youre seatbelt unfastened while landing Love that F/A's comment "After that landing everything has shifted!"

  • Hahahahahaha She is always making jokes with flights.

  • Remind me NOT to fly with this pilot.

  • ill remind you not to fly with your moms pilot! oh hey jk so you wanna chill this weekend? because dylan said we can come over, dude what did your mom say about that huge hole we put in the wall? lol

  • How did you video this if all electronic devices must be turned off below 10,000 feet? esp during take-off and landing

  • If you check the flap setting it appears that the plane was configured for a fairly faster landing which could have indicated a heavy wind of some sort. Of course SW pilots and other 737 piots are now instructed to land at faster speeds after all the crashes involvihg rudder problems.

  • I'd rather land my planes hard than soft and here's why: A harder landing (within reason), ensures the plane isn't going anywhere like side to side, or "floating" especially in rain and windy conditions. I'm not saying this wasn't a harder than normal and correct landing. Obviously it was hard ot the FA wouldn't have saud that.

  • My testicals hurt after that landing... lol.

  • @Th32ick1 hahahaha me too bro lol

  • yeah, its a rough land.

oh, they dont have TV in southwest, dont they?

  • Harlingen

  • yup kinda heavy touch down

  • during the final approach i wanted to say "sink rate... sink rate... sink rate..." lol

  • BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rough Landing

  • hey i live there!!

  • any turbulence on this flight

  • Gotta love those SWA pilots..my guess is there ex-military.

  • they actually are lol

  • Comment removed

  • Most airline pilots are former military fighter pilots.

  • that pilot probably fell into a sink rate and dropped like a pancake

  • Hard Landing!

  • lmmfao that was grand!! "Due to the landing everything has shifted" lol

  • rOUGH LANDING OF THE YEAR

  • lol tough landing haha

  • pilot forgot to flare heh

  • no tv in front??????

  • they dont have them dumdum this is SWA

  • theres nobody on that plane!

  • that wasn't that bad...a smooth landing is not always the top priority when landing a jet anyway..haha nice vid tho!

  • Holy shit that was a rough landing LOL Jesus sounds like the pilot tried to spike the landing gear LOL

  • Maybe it was cause you were using an electronic device under 10,000 feet LOL J/K

  • i love the dumb flight attendants comment, like that stupid bitch could do better

  • Holy sh** that was hard!

  • southwest always makes jokes

  • i had that same landing on a delta flight to ft lauderdale, it really hurts cause ts so unexpected!

  • did you all know theres a uneven serface in harlingens run way?

  • I was born in Harlingen

  • me too, but that landing was kind of hard

  • one of the planes they had to inspect

  • I sit in that same spot comeing from Houston

  • ohhh hard landing, didnt slow down enough, wow

  • no........he came in to slow :)....so the plane dropped instead of lickin the runway :P LOL

  • southwest is so awsome! haha! ya hard landing though, ouch!

  • I AGREE IT HURTS YOUR ASS

  • rio grande airport oh yeah

  • lmao @ all the armchair aviators.

if you're in the aviation industry, you already know that there's no such thing as a landing. just a controlled crash. hah.

excellent job by the crewmember. it wasnt serious, henceforth, stop criticizing the flight attendant, folks

  • i had a worst one, in dallas

  • We have a house on South Padre, so we are always flying to Valley International several times a year. Nothing like south Texas! But yeah, that was a pretty hard landing. Reminded me of my first landing in Paris on a Northwest Airlines DC-10. The landing was so hard that the overhead bins opened!

  • "While the economy is cooling, Texas continues to generate more jobs than the national average," said Krista Piferrer, deputy press secretary to Gov. Rick Perry. "Unemployment is low in Texas, thanks in large part to a favorable business climate that encourages businesses to expand or relocate to our state."

  • that was a pretty bad landing.

  • It must have been some Cross-Wind Harlingen (Rio Grande Valley International Airport) is next to the Gulf of Mexico and some Cross wind thats why you experienced that Hard Landing!

  • That was rough. Reminds me of my flight from Anchorage to Seattle. The pilot touched down in Seattle real rough. I couldn't believe it.

  • my home town =)

  • I LIVE IN LA FERIA

  • Vacationing in South Padre Island, Texas, Tom Bowman said he witnessed what he said he believes was a UFO. He said he saw two green circles with what he called an eyebrow over the circles. "It just hovered there for about five seconds and then it just went down into the bay," he said. "No splash, no sound, no crash, no nothing." He went to the Coast Guard to check it out and found out it wasn't one of their night missions.

  • I wish MAGLEV Train will NOW be BUILT in Harlingen to LAS VEGAS

Hopefully they will built the first MAGLEV SUPER FAST TRAIN Connecting HARLINGEN to LOS ANGELES via VEGAS

Ex california resident now living in harlingen

  • Yea same with John Wayne Airport or SNA that runway is prety short 2, i thought the plane wasnt going to take off i thoght it was gona crash

  • How long was that runway, d'you know? Same as the Midway Airport in Chicago, longest 6500 ft. By the way, my most frequent route for now would be from between Bradley Int'l Airport in CT and Las Vegas, making one stop on the way in either the Midway Airport or BWI (Change or no change in planes).

  • The runway is pretty short it's 5,701 ft. its one of the shortest of any major airport in the US. It also has a runway for small aircraft which is 2,887 ft.

  • yeah our airport is really small

  • My airplane ride was alot smooth wen i went 2 San Fransisco

  • gezuz fucking kriest

  • Jesus Christ

  • DAMN! I guess with discount airlines come discount pilots. It seemed like good conditions, the pilot could have at least tried a smooth landing.

  • He just flew that right into the runway!I was on a flight on Frontier Airlines from SNA-DEN and I could hardly feel the landing.

  • How come that landing was so hard my flight to vegas was ok but the landing wasn't to good he bounced 2 times

  • im a pilot with northwest and every 3 or 4 out a 10 landings are like that its not that bad, its only bad if u cant walk away from the landing.

  • Harlingen City Southern California of Deep South Texas, The Best Place to Retire - Homes are Cheaper and Weather is Tropicallly Nice

  • man that was a hard landing dude

  • we pilots like to look at landings in two categories... it was a good landing if everyone walked away from the airplane. it was a great landing if you can still use the airplane again. i'd say it was a great landing.

  • one of our mechanics told us the same thing when we landed pretty hard in DFW

  • Wat airline do u fly 4??

  • pilot didnt pull up enough at the last second...

  • the no smoking sign doesnt look like its on

  • Since smoking is never allowed, they just have a sign with no lights. Maybe to cut down on electricity costs.

  • Lol, Thats way better than the airline landings we have here in oz, Jestar and virgin blue land their planes like maniacs it feels as if the planes crashing or somefin. I wish southwest would open up in australia so we could fly with value and get good service.

  • dannnn

  • WOW.

I think the pilot was to small and could`nt see over the dashboard.

    So he was guessing

  • That lnding was so soft. I am like shure no one felt that.

  • I was making a joke - sorry you didn't get it ....

  • Hah, definitely wasn't a greaser...

  • Video cameras cause hard landings ....

  • i was flying about two weeks ago and when we landed i banged my head on the window... X(

  • bullshi**ing*

  • it might be a reason..some pilots tend to flare to early casuing a drop in KTS and Altitude..It's an illusion I forgot what they call it but i'm not bulshitting..

  • i rode that flight yesterday...from Houston to Harlingen. [i live in the RGV]. The Jet i was in was friggin crowded though....i mean every seat was full. This white mother with like 5 toddlers had to catch the next flight cuz it was a first come first serve thing.

  • that would have scared the crap out of me

  • God.I think you hit your head in the oxygen masks.LOOOOOL!

  • that was a hard landing lol...i hope its not like that when i fly from Buffalo international to Phoenix's Sky Harbor, then on to Reno NV...cool vid though

  • Nice landing, right on the aiming point bars. A bit hard, but the perfect place to land. :-)

  • Never mind, an early landing.

  • Out of all the "hard landing" video's i've seen, that one was definatelly the hardest and only tried and true.

At least it was a landing and not a bounce though...

  • Boring

  • Maybe the hard Landings happen due to Harlington's small Runway, making it harder to land...

  • That was a hard landing jeese were the pilots drunk or somthing

  • WOW!!! Hard for a 737, but that would be a soft landing for a B767!!!

  • For some reason everytime I fly into Harlingen, the SAME THING happens. They always hit the runway hard here I guess.

  • shit that was HARD! lol

  • "The Proper" thing for the flight attendant to say would have been, " Ladies and Gentlemen, please remain in your seats until Capt. Crash and the Crew have brought the aircraft to a screeching halt against the gate. And, once the tire smoke has cleared and the warning bells are silenced, we'll open the door and you can pick your way through the wreckage to the terminal"

  • LOL hhahahah now that would have been funny.

  • oh my god thats the hardest landing i've ever seen!

  • What the heck happened? That was an extremely hard landing

  • Nice. My hometown!

  • Ouch! That looked painful.

  • captain(20min. later): oops! i forgot to flare.

  • LMFAO! ha.

  • That joke isn't funny... it's PAT3TH3T1<

  • So is your SP3LL1NG.

  • ohhh yes baby that my home town bitches hell ya

  • ...nice way of not using electronics during landing.

  • I bet the pilot was pissed after she made that joke...kinda unprofessional?

  • Well the pilots can't hear the F/A announcements, so that's how the F/A can get away with it!

  • Southwest usually tries to make light of situations through humorous remarks. I was flying Southwest once and the plane was shaking like crazy because of 80 mph gust. The FA just told us to remain calm and that we normally pay more money for rides like this at Disney World. You might think it was inappropriate, but at least she didn't say "F*ck, I'm scared, folks".

  • as a pilot ill tell ya everyone has their off days

  • Exactly!!! We all get a landing every once in a while where we leave the cockpit door closed until everyone is off..lol

  • That was crap hard. I like what the flight attendant said too. Usually I see Southwest pilots making flawless landings that was just really hard. Very sudden too. BANG! Good job Michael.

  • Hilarious.

  • Nice video Michael2125 san. Wow! That was a hard landing.
