20th century fox didn't need to give doom powers if they wanted to give doom power they could've made him a sorcerer which he is a lot later in the comics.
One element that wasn't mentioned was that the presentation of the Incredibles film forced the production of this film to re-do much of the plotting and some of the filming, primarily because the animated feature was a virtual steal of the script this film was supposed to follow. Much the reason for so many dissatisfying moments.

The Fantastic Four are one of my favorite superhero groups around. I do feel like the bar has been risen for superhero movies though, and at the time this was made a lot of them were still a joke. Batman Begins came out this same year I think. Maybe a reboot years down the line will do it more justice.
Interesting that you mentioned Superman and Spider-Man in their mariages in contrast to Reed and Sue's... personally, I think Clark and Peter are more interesting BEFORE they're married. Clark is supposed to have this major problem with not being noticed by Lois, and Peter has drama with women left and right, and when you marry them... those things go away, and especially with Clark, those early days are most interesting to me.

You should buy a pop filter for your microphone. All your videos feel really professional, and have great audio quality. ...but for less than twenty bucks, you can get rid of the popping noise and get a REALLY professional sound.
And of course, great video. I absolutely LOVE these rewinds.

I still say that Doctor Doom is the protagonist. Victor was just a nice guy with a massive company and a beautiful girlfriend untilReed, his longtime rival, mutated him, stole Sue, and got him fired. Hell, Reed and his merry band of idiots are the fiends who DESTROYED THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE, and they got PRAISED for it! Insane or not, Doom should be given far more credit for trying to eliminate the ultimate scum of the Earth known best as THAT BLASTED RICHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARDS!!!!!!
Very nice review, I've always thought Fantastic Four was a good movie and I knew it wasn't great since I knew it had some flaws, I couldn't pinpoint the flaws which you described them perfectly
I am one of the few who really enjoyed both films... I look at them as kids movies that I happened to catch once in a while and in that mentality they seem a lot better lol.
