I enjoy gunny because i was there when he came to lebanon road elementary school.I was in 5th grade. But i found out about him from amy murphy who is now the owner of this dog....im now in sixth grade but i made a story for this dog...but millions of dogs were abused, like my dog but and plenty others ....how come they dont get attention??? Go on google and look up gunny blog and you will see my story, that time i was in 5th grade.any ways great job ms. murphy for saving gunny
You deserve everything good that has happened to you Gunny, x100. What a beautiful and courageous animal, and a perfect example of why breed prejudice is so very wrong.
I hope the "rescue" who refused to help because he's a pit bull changes their policies. It's certainly not very good PR, especially considering what a great dog Gunny has turned out to be! You hypocrites in charge of PETA, take note!
Gunny is truly an amazing soul, who overcame so many obstacles, I am so very thankful that he was given a chance at a wonderful life, in your loving home. Congratulations and thank you from someone who truly cares.
I voted for Gunny each day, I am so glad to see Gunny won and was able to ride in the Tournament of Rosses Parade.
Damn you Amy! Couldnt you have made a shorter video?! I cried for 10 mins! Love you and Gunny and what you both are doing! HUGE HUGS TO BOTH OF YOU!!! ~ Chris & Crew
I have four dogs, two pitbulls, a chihuahua, and a English bulldog puppy with spina bifida. My blue pit and the puppy are two peas in a pod! They adore each other. I will alway own a pit in my pack! I love their spirit! I am constantly teaching and showing people that pitbulls are good. It's a long haul, but I think we can re-educate people, lord knows I try!! You go Gunny!
I, too, have a family of rescues (at last count, NINE of them in my "forever home") each having suffered physical and emotional abuse. As one of those countless rescuers who've followed Gunny's remarkable saga from the onset - crossposting, helping coordinate intervention & transport, and donating - it's truly gratifying to watch his continuing successes, and to see what an incredible "breed ambassador" he has become! My vote? That's a GIVEN! Bless you once again, Amy!
I have an abused rescue dog as well. Though Jake was not as injured as Gunny, I continue to be inspired by the way these brave dogs leave their past injuries behind and move on with their new lives.
How could this video not touch your heart !!! Just as this dog's life had a wonderful & loving ending, the real problem is that these crimes often go unpunished/ignored or someone gets a reduced sentence for this behavior !!! Very Sad !!! People that can mistreat & find amusement in treating animals like this are dispicable and would/could do this to a human with the same results.... "Love the Video" !!! Go Gunny !!!
A wonderful story of courage and hope, thank you for sharing, I voted for Gunny this morning, good luck, he deserves to win and thank you all for saving his life :) xx
You Go Gunny! We Love You! And to the people who did these bad things to you and your friends, I hope they see how very wrong they are, and change thier ways. You have great people in your life now Gunny!!!
it's wonderful to see him with his toys- congrats to gunny on learning to play, learning to trust. and to all involved for not giving up on the little guy, you can see the thanks in his eyes... congrats to you as well.

Gunny also has my vote. Thank goodness there are folks out there who will take the time and money to help these poor animals.

This puppy dog's story really made me bawl. It's so great that he got a happy ending, so many dogs don't.
And this makes me even more so glad that we've adopted Brigette, and hopefully will adopt Rippy soon.
