Obama is going towards the center (I think he has moderate views instead of just liberal) because he knows that many Democrats will not vote for him because of his race, so called inexperience on national securiy, and etc. He is trying to win independent who don't care about the liberal/conservative views. This bothers Republicans, so McCain is doing the same thing. If they evenly split independents, Obama is going to lose because he will not have the great support from Democrats.

Obama is trying unite the American people, that doesn't bother me.
I was a Republican, and even voted for Bush that first time; a vote I will never be able to forgive myself for!
I had to move to the far left, just to get away from the stench of death,torture, and SHAME!
I will vote Obama for 2008!
