My dad and I built up a 69 Charger... 500 CI Keith Black Hemi, a nice 871 Supercharger, Ported, polished, blue printed, everything... I forget all the particulars..as it was a long time ago...We were just about done with the car...all that was needing to be done was the interior..tragically mom and dad died in a car accident that year... I still have the charger...It's done..I need to post some vids of it.. It has approximately 1042 BHP and 690 ft lbs of torque.. Its a monster to see

true,but as well as many import motors there more expensive to upgrade and for most engines the parts need to be imported from Japan,as of an american car's engine its easier to obtain the parts. as well as a V8 motor,can be easily pushed to output 1000+ HP with alot of time and money.

look, one guy said me that DSG 6 or 7 speed from VW can send more power on wheels than Getrag 4-speed manual from Weineck Cobra 780CUI (13L). that's lie...Getrag gearbox from Cobra 780cui can send 2000whp and almost 2500Nm on wheels. This numbers are tooo big for one little DSG. That's why Skyline and Supra using Getrag gearboxes.

true. i cant argue there. but it must be challenging. i mean being up on two wheels and having no control of the angle of your vehicle must be very hard to do. but if u can timing your shift right you could get a good launch with out pulling up the front end. i'm a muscle car guy but i do like sum imports 1980's 240 sx civic hatch etc but not many. big GTO and corvette stingray firebird camaro fan lol. peace.
