Even know they are loud sounders they hook up to callpoints and everytime you push the callpoint you have to replace the paper and plus the sounder does not come with the strobe so you have to get the strobe separately.

Most alarms here in America are code-3, but in Grand Rapids Michigan I was in a store that had a fire alarm that sounded more like something european. Pretty freaky sounding. "wah, wow, wah, wow, wah wow". Never heard anything like it. It looked like just a red strobe mounted on the ceiling but it had a built in sounder.

My school's fire alarm make is a Menvier and it sounds like a sweeping tone. I'll try get a video of me jabbing the drill button if I'm allowed.

there is NO advantage is there? Its just a 3 tone symphoni. It sounds low pitched because of the device load on the sounder circuit/loop. Ive got oneand it makes sense

thereis, ADT Menvier and nittan offer addressable sounder cards. This could be the 2 wire symphoni but i cant find out as i have never seen one activate before. It sounds like the roshnis 800/970hz alternate

I that an addressable system? It seems like it is because the conventional symphoni's make a different noise to that and that sounds like the roshni's default alternating sound. My schools fire alarm went off last friday! Its a gent vigilon system with voice sounders
