Kraken did die because Cutler Becket ordered Davy Jones tell Kraken to get on land and lie there till it died. because Beckett could threaten Jones to kill him, Beckett could do so because he had Davy Jones heart, so he could threaten Jones with death.

Jack helps the dieng William to stab the heart of Davy Jones, And the crew cuts out William's heart, so therefore William becomes the new captian of the Flying Dutchman. He can only set foot on land every 10 years, so after the battle William gives his heart ot Elizabeth to keep and they get "together". 10 years later he is coming to the island to meet his wife and new son.

Tia Dalma does not die. Calypso is released into the sea where she belonged.

And the Turner family isn't together forever. Will lives until he's replaced (probably when Elizabeth dies), but Elizabeth isn't immortal. Will can only go ashore once every ten years.  Not forever after waiting ten years. ^^

Norrington tried to kill everyone. He tried to kill Jack and Will over the heart, he almost shot Elizabeth while she was escaping, and he tried to shoot Bootstrap. He's the worst type of villain there is.

So to me, it looks like he wants Elizabeth dead. He hated her guts for no reason in POTC2. Why would he let her live with Will, the man he hates? I think he wanted to use her to get to Will but since Bootstrap came, he decided to kill her. He's a terrible aim, and his shot could've killed her. He's not a good man.
