  • awesome track

  • Shake your body down to the ground!! he is a genius!

  • For those who don't know, this is a cover of a Yellow Magic Orchestra's song.. kinda. He made the song about a woman. It's a great twist on it, I wish it was released when it should rather than 20 years later

  • 2 people need to take the mask off

  • Michael Jackson sang this this is his voice,,,seriously just accept that the legend can sing at 50, xx

  • @MJismylifeXxX hehe, true to that :)

  • @BlackCobrasTV i know riight x

  • @MJismylifeXxX Pretty sure this was recorded many, many years ago, I could be wrong. You're right though, it's MJ.

  • @DannyBoy777 i think this track was but i meant for the album in general,,and i know his voice when i hear it thaanks for the replyx

  • It's really awesome that Michael would record this song. Ryuichi Sakamoto has written, along with this song, many amazing timeless tunes.

  • Michael Jackson is the MAN! Awesome song <3

  • i love this song so much <3 Like you Michael R.I.P

  • 2 dislikes when ppl get retarded

  • @fheedo 2 retarded people...true

  • LEGEND!!

  • @AnoBaybii one and only true legend.

  • At least the fans agree about this being MJ ......So we got one 100% MJ song and voice on the album MICHAEL.

  • This sounds like they remixed it, the untampered one on demos sounds better

  • @inconvenientruth1 yep. sounds like. the demo of Behind the Mask might be released before 2017, -.-' why they need to take more time. i can't wait for it.

  • who's the girl at the end...she did that

  • @xdst84 its Shanice, i dunno her full name but her name is Shanice :)

  • this song hard....didnt know it was made back in 82 though....awesome either 1982 or 2010

  • @xdst84 we are suppose to hear this song at the album "Thriller" but the refuse to put it. so it remained unreleased 25 years.

  • OH MY GOSH EVERYTIME I LISTEN TO THIS, I WANNA DANCE!

  • gold

  • sin ofender pero tan disgusto con el comentario cualquiera puede opinar lo que quiera y tengo mis razones por que hice eso :P

  • its been 4 months with no dislikes have come, and one bastard dislike it -.-'

  • @BlackCobrasTV just today -.-'

  • @BlackCobrasTV lets overwhelm those dislikes

  • @dracus881 with likes

  • I thought this was an Eric Clapton song

  • Yellow Magic Orchestra :D

  • THIS IS DA SHIT!!!!!!!!

  • YMO>Ryuichi Sakamoto>David Sylvian>Micheal Jackson.... 4 points of connection

  • @irishcowboy42 How is Michael Jackson connected to David Sylvian? Missed that bit! Could you explain?

  • @HumanJarv The demon drink! Was a bit pissed writing that one, it should more likely read David Sylvian>Ryuichi Sakamoto>YMO>Micheal Jackson seeing as DS is a long time collaborator of RS who was a member of YMO and who co-wrote the original version of Behind the Mask. Hope that's a better explanation.

  • uploaded ONE day before michaels birthday, and 5 days after mine

  • wow! just found out that this cover exists! I love YMO and MJ and this is soooo amazing!

  • this is 200% of michael... no fucking doubt!!!!!

  • omg thumbs up if you seen the video to this song and think that it is the best MJ fan tribute video of all time!

  • i love this song

  • When the song start Remember me the BAD ERA don`t you ?

  • Wait how did he make a new song when he is dead?

    answerr please :D

  • @k0thatshit he recorded this during his Thriller era in 1982...he recored this and he supposed to put this in his Thriller album...

  • @BlackCobrasTV i thought it was recorded in 1979 during off the wall

  • @jasonschoeller5 yeah i thought too...but this was recorded in 1982 during Thriller. As Quincy Jones said.

  • @k0thatshit this is called unrealsed track of an album, that is why Michael (2011 album) realsed as a unrealsed track collection. :)

  • @k0thatshit this song is unrealsed but this song was made on year 1982

  • love eric clapton but amazed at micheals version wow love them both

  • epic Music = Michael jackson !

This voice.. This Music.. This dancing.. its a big history

    Michael we miss u !

"..EVERY MASK BE WEARING .. "

  • Thanks for posting this. I love this song. I think the trouble with the new album is that, like every time an artist dies, they were left with scraps of music, some more complete than others. While some of the songs were virtually finished (like this one), others weren't. You'd be shocked how many albums released after death feature composite songs. They'll use existing music and tracks, edit them together with other sounds, and call it complete. These are all Michael, but not, in a way.

  • @TiffanyAK your welcome ..yeah i know, other MJ songs in this album were completed by some sound alike singers. and i've never heard of Behind the Mask in 2008 and i know it was an unrealsed track. thanks for commenting..

  • just found out about this (i'm a YMO fan). i think its pretty cool that he did this but i like the original more

  • Whoops posted twice - sorry xx

  • Sorry Michael I do love you but I prefer Eric Clapton's version.

I'm sure you don't mind as you encouraged Erc to record it

    xxx

  • @cej79 but yet this version is also epic

  • jason malachi confessed those 3 songs are NOT MJ, i cant believe even in death MJ is being used and abused, just pathetic by Sony

  • @tokersrule Sony Music lies to us!

  • @tokersrule Yes, and that "confession" was already revealed to be fake. Do you really think that if Jason Malachi HAD done the singing on the new album tracks that there wouldn't have been a confidentiality agreement signed? Nobody is going to "confess" to anything when they know they can be sued for millions over it. I guarantee that if it were true, Sony would have gone after him. But, whatever. Go ahead and go on believing you know more than experts if you want. Everyone loves a conspiracy.

  • @TiffanyAK No, i just know MJ's voice when i hear it. You obviously dont. Not trying to be rude here, but you came at me like an asshole

Listen to the vibrato in this guys voice on those songs, its the same on all 3 songs, MJ NEVER sang like that, he had more control over his voice than to let the vibrato out uncontrollably

P.S. Conspiracies is a strong word, 9/11, now that is a conspiracy. Factually so. Good day

  • @TiffanyAK i knwo more than experts? wait wtf dude

Sony claims to have had experts analyze the voices, but theres NO proof of that. NO public record of that. So please, do your research. Maybe jasons confessions were fake, but its really nice and coincidental that he's saying "oh no that wasnt me it was a hacker"

Wheres the hacker? Also, sure, Sony would sue for billions, but would they ever admit they did this? HELL NO. Man use your common sense, not just your book knowledge

  • @tokersrule I am using common sense. I also know about how albums are done after an artist dies. The songs are ALL MJ, and they are all not MJ as well. Obviously, you have no clue whatsoever, so you put in a 9/11 reference to cover-up your ignorance. Why wouldn't Sony admit to doing something that has been done for years now? Maybe you should do your research, if you're going to trash anyone or anything. I for one am just happy to have the album, even if none of the songs are 100% original MJ.

  • @tokersrule I actually wasn't going to bring it up, but since you talked about using common sense: How many people do you think even knew JM's name before this whole thing compared to afterwards? So, there's two options. Either it wasn't him posting, as he said, or else he did post it (true or not) in order to do exactly what you curse Sony for, using MJ's death for his own benefit. Either way, that Facebook posting has about as much respectability as the TP I use to wipe my butt with.

  • @TiffanyAK I didnt even know it was on facebook, quite frankly, i feel you stayed off topic

Regardless of that, you can CLEARLY use your common sense to hear that the vocals are different. You just completely ignored my point and tried to bring me down with facebook, give me a break dude. I try not to angry with my fellow man, but that was not neccesary. Whether it was him posting or not, i dont care, i know in my heart those 3 songs are dubbed by someone else, we dont have to argue about it

  • @tokersrule You're obviously not really listening to what I'm saying. But, oh well. I hurt my back and am on painkillers, so can't really get into this much anymore. I just wanted to make sure you knew I'm not ignoring you. As for the Facebook thing, I'm sorry. I didn't realize it was some sacred thing to some people. I was proving a valid point, considering your whole original statement is based on JM's supposed "confession". Funny how once I do so, I'm apparently commiting some grave wrong.

  • @TiffanyAK I just ask you to please listen closely to those vocals, and listen to the vibrato, it isnt MJ. Compare those tracks to any invincible album song, or any one of his songs for that matter. His voice is smooth and gracious, not shaky

  • thats michael.. but a few lines are dubbed by someone else..thats all

  • @lanydonz And who is that? There's so many damn people that could have done it. Stop saying that it's not him. It's all him in this song.

  • @EasterGhost The voice at the end where the song is fading out is Shanice Wilson. But the rest of the song is Mike's old vocals.

  • eu amei D++ ? Michael Jackson Eu te amo d+ Nunca vou te esquecer

  • @vanessamdohotmailco1 eu amo o rei do pop! :) Viva o rei!

  • MJ got started on a LOT of songs before he passed.. some other artist may helped finish..but he has a very distinct voice.. you can tell when its him!!

  • @MrsJStampe yeah...i know this song is sung by him.

  • @michaelsaidso MJ sings high toned notes. so don't compare music of this Mala-chi-chi.

Malachi-chi voice is very easly heard on Breaking News and Monster and Keep our heads up.

And f.y.i, Mj iht songs about his life an his story and how he feels for the world. The songs like Monster, MJ never sings like rap...never...it's Malachi. and MJ sings pop not like rap style. blame sony for this ..for producing fake songs and using MJ's name to make easy money. Try to hear Monster, its fake. i know.

  • @michaelsaidso no i don't think so man, it must be MJ...MJ has a voice of an Black american style. and this jason malachi, is like impersonating...

  • @BlackCobrasTV a few lines are probably dubbed, but this one is mostly him

  • @tokersrule yeah i came to know :) thanks...:)

  • @BlackCobrasTV what is your opinion on the other songs?

i didnt even know they released a new MJ album post-life till a feew days ago lol

  • this version is a LOT MORE COOL THEN THE ORIGINAL

    love the cover :)

  • @scottyxboy11 approve to that :)))

  • @scottyxboy11 Who do you think the original is by? This song has been covered so many times... not many people know that it is actually by Yellow Magic Orchestra. Jackson is covering Eric Clapton who was covering Greg Phillinganes who actually had heard the original. The original was release in 1979.

  • @sgrfsh of course we know it dumb head :P

MJ just wanted to make Behind the Mask because i really loved how the music plays. Soo there he started Behind the Mask ^^

  • he really loved how*

  • @scottyxboy11 who made the original?

  • @bosiewkurze Yellow Magic Orchestra - Behind the Mask

  • it's fantastic !!!
