I didn't know about this actually! When I used to get my nails done all the time, acryllic and gel's I used to ask for my nails one colour, usually purple or green and then I'd have them do al my tips black or silver. I have very short nails and I have a hard time doing my own tips, but sometimes I will still attempt to do them... not very successfully mind you but I try :)

@VanillaDolphinz They're much thinner and stickier so you can get nice clean lines right up to the edges of the nail. :)

@missivonmcgowan I actually noticed a few weeks ago that most people only have half-moons on their thumbs, but for some odd reason I have them on all fingers. :O

@sokolum79 Actually everyone has the halfmoon on all fingers but it's more obvious on the thumb for most. Some people can see them clearly on all the fingers, and you seem to be one of the few :-)

@rox0459 I used to wear gel and acrylic nails for a few years. I still like the look of them, but I felt they were too high maintenance (they would chip occasionally or my nail would separate from the gel/acrylic). Plus I am not a fan of polish on long nails, just my preference, and I like to paint my nails often. :)

@Ellana7125 This is my 3rd bottle of this polish! I've heard that people think it's too goopy or takes too long to dry, but I love the opaqueness and the long lasting power. I really hope they don't change the formula. :)

@oshinsr I think they actually painted the whole nail and then removed polish on the moon (usually leaving it bare). I know they removed polish on the tips for practical reasons, so the polish wouldn't chip as easily.
