Just a suggestion ...it depends on the sense of yourself and your own body image but I would consider gaining some weight: of tremendous help for breast growth/growth of your butt and hips. It did to me at least when I started hormone therapy :)

I can't gain weight, I'm genetically prone to be thin... it runs in the family. I stay on a constant weight gain diet but it really only helps me maintain what I have, my metabolism is just to high.

Where do you signup for the program your in for hormones?

Just go see a therapist who deals with gender issues. Eventually, he/she will diagnose you as either having gender dysphoria or not. From there, depending on your diagnoses, you will be referred to a doctor who will also evaluate you. Then, if he/she also diagnoses you as having gender dysphoria, you will be prescribed hormones and also testosterone blocker if you are going from male to female.

But please, please be careful... your dream sounds quite similar to the feelings my best friend was having... and she eventually did hang herself. I recommend going to some sort of therapist who deals with trans people and explaining your dreams and feelings to them. They can help you piece together your feelings, as well as provide resources and support for coming out.

I'm on Finasteride (called Proscar) which doesn't have that side effect, but someone told me it's not as effective. Time will tell, but I can't complain!

Finasteride blocks Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), not Testosterone. It's typically used to treat enlarged prostrate, and male pattern baldness. I'm not sure what dose you're taking, but typical dosages are not going to do much to aid in feminization. It's an odd choice to use as an anti-androgen.
