I totally agree. Jeff Stuart actually attempted suicide when he had been sacked. Bless him, seriously. Only I don't think it's all that other guys fault 'cos if you think about it, when the Bill was good, like 5+ years ago, they probably had a different audience that have now just moved on... I think they have made it more of a soap but to be honest thats what people want in TV nowadays... Maybe they are just trying to move the Bill into the modern world/society... and failing...

im watching the bill at the moment which is 2002 episodes man its great it has the luke and craig thing and a whole lot of other stories, great charactors in it with heaps of sarcastic humor and funny oneliners the new series 2007-08 is so different, its not funny at all and the actors are crap
The days of the sensational storyliens, which was the 2002 - 2005 era were the best days of the show.
Now, the show's rubbish because it focuses on crime storylines, we're losing all our best characters because our best characters are being misused and underused!
Yeah I cant believe the difference in the programme, I just loved Mickey, Reg, Kerry, Gina who is so cool, Craig (yum)Cathy, ds hunter actually I loved all the charactors in the 2001-2005 era. Man dont the producers realise that they are dishing up bollocks, I watched about 30 mins of the new stuff and then got out my recorded episodes from the luke ashton and Craig Gilmore days, put my feet up with a wine and said arrhhhhhh bliss this is the bill that I love :)
No actually, she was obsessed with Brandon and wanted him for herself. That's why she killed Tanya and Max cos he 'got in the way' and was 'a waste of space'.
