@darude505 If it's a manual, he would be around 175 at the end of 5th, on paper according to gear ratios they can do around 200 in 6th. Sounds (and looks) like he's in 2nd near redline when he punches it. Just watch how fast he passes the car, I would guess he's not even going a true 150, a little less. But still an awesome car nevertheless that can be driven everyday.

Plus 2 more shifts like the video shows would put him at the end of 6th gear, going nearly 200mph, unlike it says 60-150.. If he was going that fast the lines would be completely solid and you wouldn't even have seen the car he passed at the end. These cars are quick, but will not take off that hard lugging the engine in 4th. Later man...

Supra's run A LOT of psi to run the numbers that they do here on yourtube, while Domestic V8's only need to run half of the psi that the Supra's do. no, i drove with a supra next to me for awhile in minnesota that i could tell was heavily modified and as far as the color, wheel size and finish, muffler and the mostly stock exterior was all the same as the supra in this video. i was in my vr4 at the time and passed him slowly and he gave me a quick fly by to let me know he had all the power.

it can depend on heaps of things the times u run man even if u have the same power it depends on ur tune the size of ur turbo it could have had a single turbo conversion and the other 1could b stil runnin twin turbos it also depends on weight 1could b totally striped out and the other may have a massive stereo 1could b runnin slicks and the other street tyres all these things wil make a difference2 times u will run man

@toyoda4life that 743 drops u know. it doesnt have that much to the rear wheels after having to turn the transmission and differential. plus it depends also on the gear ratio it has and how much weight. if ur talking about like an old 4,000lb chevelle then yes that sounds about right but a 2,000lb jap car would run 9s easily. also stock 245s probably had no traction and spun the whole way. thats why you need slicks when u have that much power
