Excellent rendition by both singers. I have heard this several times, and won't get tired of it. By comparison, the renditon by Hariharan and Shankar Mahadevan was totally disappointing, even accounting for poetical license.

I would like to once again congratulate both of you on this excellent performance. I live in Spain and played this song (of course without your permission) for a Tamizh Sangam gathering and the song rocked the show completely. It was a gathering of more than a 500 people. Good voices - even if they are doing it for fun they should keep trying other songs as well. I wonder how long people would remember such legendry products of yesteryear people in the midst of cocky head self proclaimed Maestros. :) Such a beautiful song - there were stations that used to play 'em over & over when I was growing up.
