the sec I got the that stone my sister was like "....it gave you a rock?" and I started running over to the statue while I replied with "Yeah, gonna go shove it in this bird's face." and she was like "O_O" and then the bird threw up the stone and she laughed and then said "It didn't do anything!" and I was like "Wait for it" and then the rocks started cracking and I felt like a boss! :P

...I feel like the only person who saw that statue at the beginning of the game and felt it was important. I thought it was some kind of special Bird Statue for saving. Soon as I found the Trial Stone I knew what it was xD; the transformation of the Goddess Statue island surprised me though...YuTe3712 captured my reaction exactly. xD

I love how they used that tiny bit about the bird having one eye from the very beginning in such a big way. Throughout the game I was wondering how they were gonna use that, and when I got the stone from the Goddess's Silent Realm, it took me a while to figure it out. That was so great.

@0OO8 While in immense frustration looking for the matching stone, I went up to the one-eyed bird statue thinking I would just save my game and come back to it later. And then the cutscene triggered, and I facepalmed. Sheer luck.

I think the biggest hint to finding the bird statue was that its eye retains its red color in the silent realm right before this, making it quite noticeable.

I loved it as you got the little red stone thingy from the last realm and you were like 'I saw that somewhere before....HOLD ON!' Made me feel like a good observing adventure. And my lil bro didn't get it all, that made it better.

That scene was actually a little silly :

I always wondered why that bird statue had a missing eye and why it always faced the big statue at night, that's why when I finished the final Silent Realm, I knew exactly where to go! :)
