Thanks for the information on this historic theatre. Very interesting. I have wonderful memories of my grandparents taking my sister and I to the Million Dollar Theater on Sunday nights to see Mexican movies and live performances of Mexican entertainers (and even Keno - a sort of Bingo) in the '60s. But also remember the remarkable and interesting architecture of the theatres downtown. How I wish for those glory days for this theatre... it was my favorite of all the theatres back then.

I first saw the Million Dollar for a Last Remaining Seats screening. It's a terrific place, and it's great to know that there is even more to see, if the theater is fully restored. I hope that can happen soon!
