@ArizonaMMJ Actually the rope is different, first you rely on the but of the butt of the rope second the rope is only one size third the rope does not attach to barbells dumbbells etc. Try before you compare it you will see the difference and like. Let me know if you are interested.
This is a great tool, however..... why not just climb a 20 foot rope? If you can climb a 20 foot rope without using your feet, you will never have a problem with your grip strength.
@VegasMoe THANK YOU!! BUT TO ANSWER YOUR ROPE QUESTION, I FIRST WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT YOUR ON THE RIGHT TRACK BY RELATING THE ROPE TO THE GRAPPLE GRIP HOWEVER THE GRAPPLE GRIP IS A COMBO OF POLE AND ROPE CLIMBING THAT CAN BE USED ANYWHERE. ALSO IT CAN BE USED WITH PULLEYS, WEIGHTS AS WELL. SO YOU CAN ACTUALLY MAKE IT MUCH HARDER THAN CLIMBING A ROPE BY ADDING WEIGHT TO THE GRAPPLE GRIP. I CLIMB ROPES WITH OUT LEGS OFTEN I WOULD HONESTLY SAY THE GRAPPLE GRIP IS MORE CHALLENGING
This is an EXCELLENT training tool that everyone must own! Grip strength and endurance is weak on all humans (except for those born with it). Therefore, you will always benefit by training your grip with this tool. Traditional grippers train mostly or only the four fingers with less thumb action: this means your "pinch" grip ability does not benefit. Using the Grapple Grip, the clamping & pinch-grip is genuinely trained & this is useful for everyone in every sport, job, & life! Buy it! Use it!
Or you can just use the rope from the tricep pulldown machine like ive been doing for 7yrs.
