This is going to be a great idea if my son keeps growing at the rate he is.. lol.. I have some xtra large happy heinys that I hope will do the trick, but if not I will give this a go...

maybe some tips for other viewers if you want to do something for extra absorbency hemp, bamboo inserts help as well as micro fleece for the 'wet zone' so that when baby does pee the 'wetness' isn't staying so close to baby's bottom. I learned that the hard way. lol

This is the best time-saving diaper advice ever!! My toddler is walking and I can't sew around him anymore. Plus his diapers take 30-45 min each to sew. I'm so excited to try this!! Thank you so much!!

It does look huge, but when it is on it fits your standard one year old. The front folds down sthe side wings need to be long enough to tie so it does look big. Once it is on though, it is nice and trim aside from the knot in the front.

Fleece is essentially a form of plastic so it doesn't absorb any liquid. If you are using a thick and dense fleece, like I am in this video, it will block the liquid while still allowing some airflow.

Thanks for this idea! Too bad I didn't find this last night while I was up until 3am sewing covers that didn't quite fit right. (yes I was a bad mama and trying them on my sleeping child lol). I have been looking for something for my bed wetter and this will work perfect with the PUL pocket inserts I made!

=D I will so be trying this! I picked up some fleece at $2/yard at walmart! I made fleece liners and they work soooo awesome. Im new to cloth diapering so am exploring all my options and I was looking for exactly this to use on my prefolds while I get some covers that actually fit my duaghter.
