1. My son is at ISU - Iowa State Univ.
2. The camera is a spy camera that is the size of a pack of gum. If you search e-bay for spy camera and pack of gum you will see it. Some US sellers now have it for around $15 I believe. They also sell a version that is built in an ink pen. That would probably be easier to mount in a rocket.
Great work! I have used the same kind of camera a few times, and I love it. Finally there is a cheap digital option that is ideal for rocketry (how many years has the hobby been forced to deal with giant cameras or film?) I just got a 2nd spy camera, one built to look like a large ballpoint pen. It looks out sideways (and is thus very aerodynamic when installed on the rocket.) Looking forward to testing it.
