Wow! I would put a complaint in to the general medical council! I was diagnosed down in Bradford in England and they asked me questions about what I did in my spare time, and what relationships and whether I had any rituals. My mum was there to help. I was 15 at the time so I was diagnosed at the Child and Adolescent Development Centre
i think this may have had somthing to do with the misdiagnosis. they also made a thing about me faking it to get disability allowance. that really pissed me off. i work full time, in the worst place for an aspergers person. i would really like the opportunity to get another diagnosis, this would really help me at work.
when did you get diagnosed, where did you get diagnosed, what did they do to diagnose you with aspergers.
i went to adrc in southampton, hampshire. they diagnosed me as schizoid. which i dont agree with.
i still think i have aspergers and want to find a way to get diagnosed a bit better. the process they used at adrc was crap in my opinion. they gave me an iq test and said that i didnt have aspergers. i had a conversation with a guy for about 10 minutes and i went off on a tangent a little.
Bravo... this was great! I like how you both refer to the informational website and also add commentary. I only received my diagnosis a year ago, at age 30, and I still have so much to learn. But watching your video is a great start for me. I hope to see more!
what vintage computer sites do you go on?
