  • I was just diagnosed & found this in my search for inspiration. I've watched it 3 times just now & will be coming back to watch again & again! Thank you so much!!

  • I too joined the cancer chat at Yahoo, but in 2003. Someone suggested that I see this as a must in my fight. I still suggest it too many - survivors and those facing and in treatment. I still visit the yahoo cancer room, just not as often. This is and remains the best three plus minutes available. I clean 5 years this month

  • when i was 1st diagnosed in 2006 i was lost and didnt know where to turn so i signed into the yahoo cancer chat room and someone shared this with me now i turn to it for strength on my weakest days....

  • This is pure love.

My wife created this video for her best friend when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. When it was first posted on the internet, it went viral world-wide and millions of people viewed it. We received e-mails from more than 100 different countries from people who told us how much it helped them deal with their diagnosis of cancer. In 2006, this movie won the "Champion's Award" from Komen For The Cure and Yoplait and was featured in Glamour magazine and Self magazine.

  • I remember watching this when I was first diagnosed with leukemia and crying my eyes out and thinking...Cancer will not have me! Now I am approaching my 5 year anniversary of my stem cell transplant for which I only had a 20% chance of survival and I can truly say: Cancer did not have me!

  • Absolutely beautiful! Brought tears to my eyes...........I agree, everyone should see this, whether you are a cancer survivor or not.

Most of us know someone who has had or has cancer. We should all send this on to them. Very empowering.

  • This could have been written for my daughter Lindsey it is so true to her fight. I met Roger and Kathy who made this shortly after LIndsey died. I watch this from time to time to remember that you need to live each and everyday you are given.

  • Beautiful movie !!! inspiring even for those who do not have cancer - and facing life's challenges.

    God bless

  • suggest viewing this once a month for survivors, more if possible, and sharing with all that you think can benefit

  • Lovely, thought provoking, joyful, and insightful. I am a seven-year ovarian cancer survivor, Stage 3C. God is in control and I'm thankful for that. Funny, it took cancer for Him to get my full attention. It took cancer for me to truly experience the beauty in life. For me, life is meaningless unless God is in it. He's in it. I have no fear or concern because of Him. Hooray! I finally "got it". God bless you my ovarian cancer sisters. You have never been more beautiful.

  • This movie has always inspired me. I was a care giver to my sister who fought a long and courageous ten year battle with Ovarian Cancer. She finally went home in February 2009. I still watch this video and know how much a cancer survivor can teach us all about life.

  • I am a cancer survivor and when I feel I need to remind myself it is truly just a bend in the road I come back to this movie and watch it again. Mickeral I love the quote from Norman Cousins. Thank you so much fo sharing. Good luck to all. What a beautiful video!

  • This is a truly inspitational movie. I've watched it quite a few times and can understand the message cause I'm a cancer surviour myself. Bless you all.

  • This video has a great message for those who are affected by cancer, whether they are survivors, caregivers, family or friends.

It also has a message for all who faces the challenges of everyday life.

    Years ago, Norman Cousins counseled:

"Don't defy the diagnosis, try to defy the verdict."

Thank you for making this wonderful message available to all.

Warmest Wishes - Best of Success

  • Excellent! Everyone should see this!
