  • Shes beautiful :D how much was she and she sounds like XD a real rhino to me But not a snake more like the Real rhino deal

  • I don't know if you still have a problem with this or not, but I was watching Viperkeepers video ST. Louis Zoo Part 3 and he was talking about crypto, do you think this snake could have crypto? Watch the video if you're still looking for a solution!

  • You need better lighting please!

  • Rhino vipers are bad ass bu you never get to much vivid colors from them that's why I prefer the eyelash viper

  • The wart like protrusions sound like uric acid burns from a wet tank environment with high humidity.

I would cut down on the wet conditions and let her dry out

  • I'm no expert by any means, but it sounds like a scale parasite of some kind. DId you ever find out what it was?

  • Shame about her problem but, even so, she is a real beauty. You should give yourself a pat on the back.

  • oO is she still poisonous???

  • Now and forever

  • Good job! It's like getting a pittbull and clipping its tail. Some things in life are just meant to stay the same. She's gorgeous, btw!

  • I dont really know.. But could it be from dry skin or maybe some sort of chemical bacteria in the tank? something you cant find or dont know about?

I give you and your beautiful rhino my wishes. I hope this gets resolved.

  • Thanks. It actually turned out to be a subocular infection. What caused the infection is still unknown, but I have found out how to treat it and the hole has shrunk quite a bit.

  • yeah brians a beast

  • did u ask snakebytestv

  • No, but I'll give it a shot.

  • was she captive bread or caught in the wild seems like something that may have come from a natural setting that sucks really bad the one on her eye almost looks like an ulcer hope it gets better bro peace out

  • She was cb and was in my possession for almost 2 months before this occurred.

  • that sucks man good luck

  • It does. But even though I don't what it is, I've been given some pretty good advice on how to treat it.

  • well that is good as long as u have a general idea on how to take care of the problem that is what matters peace out bro

  • HERP VET ASAP

  • The one I use is gone and I can't find another who will treat a venomous snake.

  • Usually I would think that maybe it was the same disease that Viperkeeper's "Miss Channing" has but that wouldn't explain the starnge warts though. Have you already asked Viperkeeper?

  • You kiddin? He was the first person I asked.

  • lol

  • Have you added anything new to it's cage? Maybe some type of reaction to something? I've never heard of anything like it. You can go ask iHerp(dot)com if anyone there knows as there are a lot of knowledgeable people there. Most don't deal with Hots but maybe this problem can happen in other non venomous species as well. That Rhino is beautiful by the way, good luck figuring out this mystery!

  • No, I haven't added anything new to her cage at all. And thanks for the lead, I could use every one I can get.

  • are you sure that they arn't ticks?

  • Very

  • shit sounds like your rhino got a virus.

  • that stinks, hope she is gonna be okay
