Hey Buddy, they are color kinetics icolor cove MRG2 bulbs. The up and down sequence just boils down to the programming. Each light is a seperate adressable node.

Excellent job man! I'm going to be rebuilding my basement movie theater soon to incorporate an all LED-lit bar, with LED accent lighting on the walls to match. Did you purchase the RGB LEDs from color kinetics, but are only using the blues in this vid? Or do they sell "only blue" LEDs? I am going to want only blue, and don't want to waste money on RGB if I don't have to.

if you look above in all the comments, I say which lights I have. All the lights are RGB, but I use blue alot. Mind you, after a while, you get bored, or you want to read something, so you put white, but I mostly have an rgb chase slowly from light to light in use most of the time. Just get RGB, you wont' regret it.

Those are color kinetics MRG2s in the wall sconces. One pointing up, another pointing down in each fixture. I have 14 of them total, in 7 wall sconces. The other lights are color kinetics also, but they are color cove NXTs 12 inches. and 24 of those. I'm pretty sure they are being discontinued and replaced with another newer product, and supposed to be a bit brighter.
