  • I've been on the 'Paleo' for about 5 weeks. I've been logging my meals and my weight changes. I've lost about 9 pounds and put on some muscle. I'm losing my 'gut around the middle' and I feel great. This last weekend I started shopping in the 'fitted' shirts section of men's wear.! You have a lot of good food choices.

This is an easy lifestyle change . As I see changes, I want to do more. Exercise isn't drudgery any more. I'm 58 years old and feel great!

    Thanks for the video.

  • Some people feel great, and then someone becomes unhappy. Wow.

  • Nobody here rapes and tortures. Take your animal activism and vegan nutjob attitude elsewhere.

  • @FathomIessJoy are you accusing people of having forced sexual intercourse with animals?

WTF is wrong with you? You're insane. The diet has warped your mind. Eat some healthy meat, nutjob.

  • @FathomIessJoy I fail to see how any paleo person disrespects their body.

As Alberta said, the diet is far healthier than you believe, and has more nutrients than your vegan diet.

  • that should be "spread lies" not "likes" ... typing too fast, LOL.

  • This has nothing to do with compassion. We're talking about diet.

So now you admit finally that you're nothing but an animal-rights activist. As such, maybe stick to doing your OWN videos for people who want to see them instead of invading other people's and spreading your propaganda.

Saying something ONCE would be tolerable, but to spread likes, misinformation, accuse people of being rapists and murderers gets old and does nothing for your cause.

    You're just alienating people.

  • @FathomIessJoy hmm... the only lies I see appear to come from the vegan nutjob troll in the comments section... Not from anyone else.

  • @FathomlessJoy "This is a belief you hold. You have no basis in reality for it."

My basis in reality is ... REALITY. Do you dispute that we're evolved and that we're more intelligent than other species and that we raise livestock?

  • @AlbertaBeefy You already confessed that you family profits from livestock, and that it is a belief you hold. How can you see reality with that conditioning?

  • @FathomlessJoy One last quick reply - I never "confessed my family profits from livestock". I said I was raised on a farm. I was.

But that is not and was not my family and I have no contact with them whatsoever and haven't for decades. You assume too much.

Again, all your arguments fail. All your logic fails. Your diet fails. You need external supplements to keep you alive, I don't. Deal with it. You're now blocked, so I don't have to see any more of your ridiculous nonsense. Troll.

  • @FathomlessJoy profit?

    Do tell...

I work for the federal government and have no current business or ties to the livestock industry whatsoever.

Again, you're misinformed, or your trying to spread lies to prove a point.

    Where is this "profit" motive?

  • @FathomlessJoy I don't think you'd really have the courage to face this discussion head-on. You feel brave behind the anonymity of the internet though, right?

I use intelligent arguments. I use science. That's hardly childish. Methinks you protest too much.

And what would politicians or Christians have to do with anything? I guess you hate everybody with any belief, right?

Of course, my beliefs are at least based in science instead of dogma, like yours.

  • @AlbertaBeefy "I don't think you'd really have the courage to face this discussion head-on." Dude I look the entire society in the eye and call the lies for what they are. I stepped out of all of it. You are still mired in madness and lecture me on courage? Truly: LOL

Plus, I am no slouch wrt to fitness training, martial arts and self defense. So, I'm certainly not worried. I find most meat-tards bring it up initially, NOT vegans, then they run away like whipped dogs. Truth speaks for itself.

  • @AlbertaBeefy "And what would politicians or Christians have to do with anything" Your techniques are political, typical of politicians and christians: zealous, argumentative, twisted.

  • @AlbertaBeefy "I guess you hate everybody with any belief, right?" Why do you need beliefs? Are not beliefs for those who haven't seen for themselves? Do not humans employ beliefs to feel better about their own unrighteous ways? In the presence of truth beliefs have no meaning, in fact beliefs are the very denial of truth, are they not?

  • @AlbertaBeefy "Of course, my beliefs are at least based in science instead of dogma, like yours" What beliefs do I have? That man doesn't need to rape and torture animals for food? That is simply a fact, right? That eating meat has proved to be unhealthy in my life and the life of many others? That is not belief, is it? See when we see things for ourselves we do not need to believe, therefore we do not need authority. Find out for yourself whether or not you need to eat like a maggot.

  • @shantelli if you haven't already, you should really block that FathomlessJoy troll . He doesn't stop unless you do.

  • @AlbertaBeefy I blocked him. Thank you.

  • @FathomlessJoy you mad bro? ... and by mad I mean in-freaking-sane?

    Wow, you need help.

  • @shantelli if there's any way you can increase the volume in your vids, it would be quite beneficial to those of us with wimpy laptop speakers, thanks! =)

BTW, keep it up and good luck! You look great!

  • @FathomIessJoy .. you concluded that man is an herbivore or frugivore, did ya?

Even though all science says we're omnivores. Even though our bodies are designed to chew, digest and absorb nutrients in meat. Even though we get deficiencies without meat. Even though our digestive tracts are the correct length for omnivores. Even though our closest genetic relatives are omnivores.

You concluded for yourself, eh? Wow. Concluded how? Stupidity? Brainwashing?

Oh, and what's your 100% proof?

  • @AlbertaBeefy "Even though all science says we're omnivores" Laughable that you now quote "all scientists" when it suits your cause. Funny that "all scientists" are wrong when it comes to LDL and sat fat being unhealthy, but they are right when they claim man is omnivore. But 2 things to consider: you do not deny that I and hundreds of millions of vegans live as herbivores, right? Also, have you ever considered what Charles Darwin said of man being natural herbivore?

  • @AlbertaBeefy "Even though our bodies are designed to chew, digest and absorb nutrients in meat" Prove it! Upload a vid of you taking down a cow on your own, chewing through its hide and devouring, digesting and absorbing the rotting flesh, bone and all. See if you can do it. I bet you can't! In know you can't!

Face it, the weapons and fire are doing it for you. You are no more an omnivore than a rabbit. Or, perhaps you can put this to bed once and for all and prove it. Simple. Show me!

  • @FathomlessJoy again with the stupid argument. We're not carnivores, derp. We're omnivores. We are evolved enough to raise livestock.

Why do you use such stupid arguments? You only make yourself look bad.

  • @AlbertaBeefy "Even though our digestive tracts are the correct length for omnivores. " Actually humans have much longer digestive tracts than omnivores. This is one of the reasons eating rotting flesh causes so much disease, it festers and rots in your colon for days, while true meat eaters are done with it in their short tracts in a few hours.

  • @FathomlessJoy the human small intestine, at approximately 23 feet, is a little under eight times body length (assuming a mouth-to-anus "body length" of three feet). This is about midway between cats (three times body length), dogs (3-1/2 times), and other well-known meat eaters on the one hand and plant eaters such as cattle (20 to 1) and horses (12 to 1) on the other. This tends to support the idea that we are omnivores.

  • Comment removed

  • @AlbertaBeefy "This tends to support the idea that we are omnivores." Tends to support does not mean proof, which is what I asked for...proof; you have none. The strongest proof I have is that fact that I live as an herbivore, so I know you are wrong. Can man survive as an omni? Sure, for a while. But it is catching up to you as you get more and more of your calories from rotting diseased animals products.

  • @FathomlessJoy You CAN live as an herbivore because we're omnivores BUT you will end up with deficiencies if you don't supplement.

Those deficiencies come as a result of forsaking meat. Period.

  • @AlbertaBeefy It is actually a meat only diet that is extremely deficient in nutrients, right? Dietary fiber, vitamin C, selenium, calcium, etc, etc. This is why meat alone kills you. Plant foods are keeping you alive, bud.

  • @FathomlessJoy Only people like YOU think paleo or primal people eat ONLY meat...

    Your logic ... isn't.

You continue to make these incredibly stupid, pointless arguments. Paleo / Primal and even LCHF people eat tons of healthy vegetables, fruit, nuts, etc. in addition to healthy meats.

  • @AlbertaBeefy "Only people like YOU think paleo or primal people eat ONLY meat..." No, I know you don't only eat meat, otherwise you would be dead. You must eat plants to stay alive.

  • @AlbertaBeefy "people eat tons of healthy vegetables, fruit, nuts, etc.." And those are not the issue. The issues are that you rape and torture animals, ingest their diseased rotting flesh, and lie about it to others. These societal lies are at the core of this sickness.

  • @AlbertaBeefy "You CAN live as an herbivore because we're omnivores " Then you should be able to prove the converse, right? You should be able to live as a carnivore. Try it! No man has. It's a fact. You have to burn your food, like no other animal, which destroys the few nutrients that were there, thus you will die without plant foods. Sorry, you are an herbivore.

  • @AlbertaBeefy "Even though we get deficiencies without meat. " Yeah, I am deficient in body fat and LDL. Also my high blood pressure is deficient, in that it does not exist.

  • @AlbertaBeefy "Oh, and what's your 100% proof?" You don't want proof, you want argument. But let me ask you this: how long have you been paleo? And have you ever worked in the livestock industry? Also, where, specifically what farm supplies your meats?

  • @FathomlessJoy You have no proof, only arguments, and not evenvery good ones.

I'm not even paleo, and I've told you that in discussions we've had previously. But you don't discuss, you don't read, you just rant and rave like the lunatic you are.

Yes, I have worked on a farm. I grew up on one. We had nearly 500 head of pasture-raised, grass-fed cattle.

As for farms I get my meats from currently: I eat only grass-fed/pasture-raised Alberta Beef. I also enjoy free-range chicken and pork.

  • @AlbertaBeefy "You have no proof, only arguments" Actually my very life is the best proof, right? See I know for a fact, have seen it with my own eyes, felt it in my own blood, brain and bones that man does not have to rape and torture animals for food. Why? Because I do not eat a single animal product and can run circles around most omnis I know. That is the strongest proof I have and the only proof I need. An eyewitness in court, after all, is worth the testimony of 1000 forensic scientists!

  • @AlbertaBeefy Strangely I admire your honesty, as shameless as it is. But yes you show now why you are so biased and desperate: profit. You profit motive is telling, which is why I had to ask. It always takes you down many notches in what slim margin of credibility you had.

  • @FathomIessJoy seriously dude, stop trolling every paleo video with your crap.

Every video you get on you get smacked down by science. You've never once refuted anything, you spout nonsense, misinformation and outright lies in some cases, yet even when smacked down you keep coming back.

Go back under your bridge, Troll.

  • @AlbertaBeefy "seriously dude, stop trolling every paleo video with your crap" Then you get to just say anything you want about health and fitness any time with no questions asked, is that it? I don't roll that way. You gonna spout lies in public? Then others have a right to point them out.

  • @FathomIessJoy as Alberta mentioned, the only comments in here with lies are from you.

I checked his information out, and his science is solid. You are the one lying.

  • @LCHFinCanada "I checked his information out, and his science is solid. You are the one lying." You checked "Albertabeefy"s informaton out, eh? Which infomation?

Again, in the unlikely event that I get heart disease, I am going to see a cardiologist, not "AlbertaBeefy" ROFL

  • @FathomlessJoy you seeing though blinders, its why you are jabbering.

  • @datzfast nah, he jabbers because he's a vegan troll with no life. If you check out any paleo vids, he looks up all of them and tries to debunk them with stupidity.

He's constantly smacked-down with science and keeps shouting. He's the most obnoxious animal-rights activist on youtube, but tries saying he has science and proof when he has nothing...

  • @AlbertaBeefy "He's constantly smacked-down with science" You mean this "old science is wrong" and "the new science is the real science" thing you keep chirping about?

  • @AlbertaBeefy "He's the most obnoxious animal-rights activist on youtube" You have no scientific proof of that.

  • Darwin spent 5 years on a ship eating like crap. he wasn't scientist at the time. He was the Captains bunk mate. when he was on the island of Galapagos he didnt even know what he was looking at until twenty years latter. he went on the voyage as a man whore, look it up. He is the source.

  • @datzfast Yeah, but brother changed the world; and brother did go vegan. In fact here is what he wrote after all his ground-breaking research into man's natural diet:

"The grading of forms, organic functions, customs and diets showed in an evident way that the normal food of man is vegetable like the anthropoids and apes and that our canine teeth are less developed than theirs and that we are not destined to compete with wild beasts or carnivorous animals."

Pretty clear where Chuck came out!

  • @FathomlessJoy your blind to the truth

  • @FathomlessJoy no we are not adult humans. some of us pretend to be vegitarians.

  • I'd check out what the health and nutritional professionals, specifically cargiologists, nutritionists and dieticians, are saying about Paleo. Recently they ranked Paleo diet dead last, excuse the pun, in every health criteria measured. Sure, you can drop some pounds by eating less processed carbs and sugars, and eating more whole fruits and veggies, which is great! Problem is that Paleo emphasizes more unhealiness by eating dead animals: health.usnews.com/best-diet/best-weight-loss-diets

  • Thanks for doing this vid! I'm curious of you've ever heard of saturated fat and LDL cholesterol? Actually your deit sounds pretty good, except for the dead rotting animals, which are easy to drop, can replace with chunks of sweet potatoes or soaked walnuts or mushrooms, etc: cheaper and oh so yummy and healthy!

I'd read facts about sat/fat, LDL and the havoc they wreak on your body long term. I know the new religious mantra is "cholesterol is bad science" LOL Yeah, "bad" but real. Good luck!

  • Had a burger today, with a sweet potato. I also eat a lot of greens and stay away from sugar. Cleaned up my diet about a year go and since then i have been taking huge green dumps once a day. Its not a paleo diet or anything i read about or have been told about. But i do like my huge green dumps. GOOO MEAT!

  • @madmonk6969 You do know that green dumps are a sign of serious health issues pertaining to your diet. Fuckin meathead moron. Go to WebMD immediately before you kill your goddamn self.

  • @CantWeedThis I had some more cow for dinner after my work out. I do eat a lot of greens. -fucking slacked jawed faggot hippie- i did ask a couple of dietitians and Dr's about the green poop. They said it could be from amount of veggies i eat. They told me to tone it down for a couple weeks and see what happens. Thanks for playing =)

  • @madmonk6969 why do you troll? reread some of your comment moron. you only promote the fact that your existence is an unfortunate case that those, like myself, have to suffer through. please, before you decide to share your worthless opinions to the public, consider the removal of your hands.

  • @NickWinsGames Suck Dicks.

  • @madmonk6969 is pathetic

  • @NickWinsGames Enjoys his life long membership with NAMBLA.

  • Its works...i fell better however before...i'm stronger in all of my physics and psychics...

  • Duh chimps are not and never have been apes,

  • it turns out chimps eat more animal protein than humans,

  • how old are you...

  • @nickodemo1 I'm 36....I'll be 37 in March.

  • Just for your info Green tea always has caffine unless it says it on the label. My mom has been drinking it for 20 years and she recently got me drinking it. =)

  • i cant help but to add, as i washed my face daily, i could not help but to notice how smooth my face skin was becoming, as i ate this strict paleo diet. if it were not for the whiskers, i would have imagined i was caressing the boobs of a virgin.

  • you are super hot

  • try fruit apes are not stupid they dont eat grains meat or hard veggies only fruit and leaves!!!the ultimate primal diet is the ape diet dont be fooled by the snake oil paleo salesmen

  • @TheJUNGLESURFER dude were not related to apes, chimps are our closest cousin, and chimps not only eat meat, sometimes they eat one another. dribble is your game but logic always prevails. whole grains delay the onset of diabetes heart disease and obesity so do i get like what? five years or so.it seems to me grains in general are worthless caloric filler because i can eat more fiber in a big ass salad than a month of whole grain pancakes. paleo trumps all diets for long term health.

  • @datzfast 'dude were not related to apes'!! you are very uneducated !! man is an ape chimps are apes read origin of species man is a frugivore ! cooking is a recent development read a site called ben adamah dot com i bet you dont but if you do you will be educated also read ecologos dot org one must study these sites not read once but 5 times if you do youi will learn open your mind!!!!

  • @datzfast 1. CHIMPS ARE APES. Duh? And, I've never read anything about chimps consuming significant quantities of meat. Even people that claim that chimpanzees consume more than a small portion of their calories from meat acknowledge that they are primarily frugivores. Even if they do eat meat, it is not a significant part of their diet, and I would wager you'll never catch one snacking on carcass when there's bananas around. Agreed that grains are useless, though.

  • @FraterAnarkhos they eat various specieas of monkey and hunt them as a troup. buy a television.

  • @datzfast do they favor hunting over fruits, or do they do this out of hunger and desperation?? 'buy a television' is very telling. Maybe you should turn your's off for a while? In fact, after you do that, you should walk outside, and go and kill a deer. Or a cow. Then tear through its skin with your face, lap up the blood, and chew up the bones like a real carnivore. Then, maybe I will believe that your human body is adapted to a carnivorous lifestyle. I kill fruits everyday, easy.

  • @datzfast if eating meat is so natural and optimal, why are heart disease and cancer the biggest killers in America? And how come Jehova's Witnesses are the longest lived demographic in America?

  • @FraterAnarkhos that question is so absolutly easy to answer.i have the answer. but first tell me why a demographic were only 2.5 pecent of the males and females living to age 80 is all that important as to set any example for you? Jehovas Witness might be fine people but hardly a group worth my time.

  • @datzfast "Buy a television." ROLF That is definitely the funniest retort I've heard this week!

Dude, if I had a dollar for every dumbed down, brain dead, moronic, misinformed thing I have heard on TV (years ago when I used to watch it that is) I would be a billionaire!

  • @TheJUNGLESURFER Search 'Chimps hunting' on youtube. Maybe these chimps aren't apes lol.

  • Why do you all insist dairy is not paleo. IT IS! Eat all the dairy you want!

  • @guidwi no its not. Eggs are fine for paleo bc people have the misconception that they are dairy which isn't true. No species should be drinking milk past their early years let alone another type of species'

  • did anyone have problems with constipation on this diet? Whenever I try to go on some kind of grain/bean free diet I usually end up constipated. This time it appears to be going a little smoother, but poops are still kinda hard and lumpy (sorry if its gross). I figured this was just my system adapting, but any other input or experiences would be appreciated.

  • @frodosauce Youre a moron for following this diet. Then you wonder why you are shitting out pine cones. Eat some apples retard.

  • How much have you lost so far?

  • Wow, I love bragg's too, but drinking it with lemon juice and water all day? Good thing you have a straw because that is hell on your teeth enamel.

  • It's fine to cut the carbs from foods (potatoes & grains etc), but how do you cut the carbs from beer?? :D

  • @Soldier957 you cant sadly check this out , the amount of carbs in different alcoholic drinks he carb counts given here are effective carb counts, with the fiber removed. All amounts here are for a 1oz shot, except as indicated. Armagnac - 0g Beer (12oz) - 12.5g Bourbon - 0g Brandy - 0g Cognac - 0g Gin - 0g Rum - 0g Scotch - 0g Tequila - 0g Vermouth, Dry - 1.4g Vermouth, Sweet - 4.5g Vodka - 0g Whiskey - 0g Wine, Red (4oz) - 2.0g Wine, White (4oz) - 0.9g
  • Just finished my Paleo challenge for crossfit....you can check out the video if yah want.

  • Paleo Works!

  • hey, cool vlog!

  • I can tell the paleolithic diet works! You have great skin!

  • @stkcarm5 Good skin is one of the many benefits of the paleo diet. It's amazing! I drink a lot water too.

  • @shantelli It would be cool if you did a before and after.. :)

  • @shantelli Food is fuel for the body and as such affects so much more than just how much fat we have. I find it improves everything, as in reality we should expect. Keep going, you will continue to feel so much better.

  • Your 11 pounds could very well have been water weight. Usually when people first transition to raw foods, they drop 10+ pounds of water, at least. I lost 15 pounds pretty quickly myself, without my body shape really changing significantly either.

  • @FraterAnarkhos Yes that is true, very true!

  • @Frater Anarkhos i have been paleo for 2 months. is the thirty pounds i lost on this all you can eat diet water weight? or could it be the trans -fats stored on my belly and ass being used as food that were so unhealthy that medical warnings were given to the masses least they consume some by accident. im surprised i didnt have a myocardial infarction with all that unhealthy fat cursing though my heart on its way to the liver, to be converted to food stuffs suitable to fuel my daily caloric.

  • Is that 4 to 5 whole droppers full of green tea extract, or is that actually 4 to 5 drops?

  • @UniquelyGeeky

My recipe is this: 30 oz of water, 2 (or 3) tbsp of lemon juice, 2 (or 3) tbsp of Braggs ( with the "mother") apple cider vinegar, and then I use 2 or 3 full droppers of green tea. Not 2 or 3 drops. I actually try to get the dropper to fill up all the way but it usually only goes half way (that is a dropper to me). Am I making any sense here? lol Hope that helps. I always keep the ratios the same for lemon juice and ACV. The green tea amounts are determined by energy level.

  • @shantelli

try black seed oil, its the best thing ever.

  • is there anyway to increase the volume...I really cant hear you and my volume is up all t he way....thanks..R U Talking about the Voderplanitz raw diet...?.DG

  • @dnat1

I'm not familiar with that Voderplanitz diet.

And I don't know what is wrong with the volume. I'll need to look into that and see if it's something on my end I'm doing wrong. Is it low with all videos or just this particular one?

  • Of course!

  • Shantel,

can you teach me how to vlog. I am desperate, to learn for an assignment. There is also an application called voice thread maybe you could be my tech buddy to test it out with me.
