This Achievement can be done in 1 try ...You just have to make sure to get the building on the other side of the bridge at the start where you blow the trucks up at ..its hard to tell its there but it is...I did it in one try and got the achievement ..But I did come to this video to be sure i knew what i had to do fully ...It helped a lot but does not need to be done over and over to get it.

beat on my first run, i think when you destroy a building and the walls are still standing it doesnt count, because i had probably 5 or 6 building still standing, just made sure i hit the building multiple times to take walls and all down to ground,

Hay guys!, well i watch this vidio yeasterday so i could be preperd for trophy op's later in the game. Any way i got up to this point this morning and "shot the shit" out of the village, but i only had to do it once, im not sure if its couse you have to make sure the bildings are fully down, but i only had to do it once. Keep doing the whole mission over and over without getting killed until you get the achievement. It's frustrating as hell but i eventually got it (easy difficulty). Just keeping firing missiles until you destroy the whole site completely.

I got this on my first try. I never played the game before. I started out on hard mode. It was my first attempt at the level and i just kept firing at a steady pace only when i saw a building, I think you just need to be accurate here because I just proved it's not cumulative. Just be accurate and use machine gun and missles the whole time making sure your firing at a steady pace with the rocket reload speed. and honestly there was like 3 buildings left still when i got it

REALLY struggled with this until I read through the comments to page 20-something:

YOU HAVE TO RESTART THE WHOLE LEVEL and NOT reload from the checkpoint if you've been killed. Got it easily after restarting the level from the beginning!

@DEVGRUxDELTA - simply that you can't continue from a checkpoint if you get killed in the WHOLE mission (usually by the guys with the RPGs). You MUST restart the WHOLE level from the mission menu and not get killed until you've destroyed enough buildings. There are plenty of buildings (including the ones on your right hand side as you get the guys with the RPGs and circle around. It's actually quite an easy achievement, but, as I said, I wasted endless time until I found the earlier comment!

@DEVGRUxDELTA - No you don't have to be in a progressed campaign. Simply start the mission from the menu with the following sequence: Campaign/Misssion Select/Right Bumper to "Day 1"/Gunfighters

and then DON'T DIE until you've obliterated the village.

I can't help any more because I've already got the achievement, and haven't got an old savegame at that point to try again on another account - sorry, but just follow thoses instructions and, if you destroy enough buildings, you WILL get it!
