There is more than enough circumstantial evidence to to re-open this case, but I doubt the department would ever do so unless everyone assigned to the case has since retired & a new person decides to re-investigate. If this happened now, 18 years later with all the advancements & technology- the outcome of this case would be much different. Much like the West Memphis 3 & Jon Benet cases, I think police did a terrible job of thoroughly investigating the scene and the case in general. When you put "why was Courtney the only one who thought Kurt was suicidal" I immediately thought, "Courtney was Kurt's wife. If anyone knew Kurt more at the time, it could have been Courtney. About Rome: He took 40 Rohypnols and a bottle of champagne. And, yes he did leave a suicide note. Despite what the video says, he DID drink, but not much, the last tour was a dry one for Nirvana. Krist and Dave had to go to Mudhoney's room to have a beer. No one force-fed Kurt 40 pills and champagne and he knew full well the dangers of mixing drugs and alcohol. Which is why he didn't drink much. It wasn't called a suicide at the time because they wanted to keep it quiet. Too much at stake.

He had a note that was in his writing but it didn't say he was going to commit suicide. At the bottom of the page it was in messy writing(someone else) saying that he was killing himself. The note was obviously tampered with.

The reason why kurt knew it was 400$ and why he didnt spend more was because atm's would only allow a person to withdraw a maxium of 400$ a day. The tour promoters of some shows of Nirvana's European tour recently confirmed KURT WAS TAKING METHADONE during the tour. They were being interviewed for other reasons and the journalist asked them about Nirvana: they said the 92 euro tour was chaotic, but in 94 everything was fine because there was a Dutch doctor giving methadone to Kurt. They also said that everything was so legal a witness was required everytime Kurt took the drug. These guys don't give a shit about Kurt's dead and are rich.

@judyleasugar97 if kurt was on methadone in 94 that means he wasnt sober as you've insisted and if you knew anything about heroin addicts and drugs addicts you'd know that it's very difficult to travel around europe or anywhere overseas when you are addicted to heroin. Kurt could have been on methadone to avoid withdraws and having to score drugs in every stop on the tour. Many addicts go on methadone when they are traveling and resume their drug use when they are back home.

There is more than enough circumstantial evidence to to re-open this case, but I doubt the department would ever do so unless everyone assigned to the case has since retired & a new person decides to re-investigate. After reading the newly published segments of Frances' police deposition about living with her mom, I started to wonder about Kurt's death & what his relationship with Courtney was like. Much like the West Memphis 3 & Jon Benet cases, I think police did a terrible job of thoroughly investigating the scene and the case in general. It was easier to rush judgement on a suicide ruling & be done with it, & that's what they did. Despite all the evidence that conflicts with the decision, they were done

About Rome: He took 40 Rohypnols and a bottle of champagne. And, yes he did leave a suicide note. Despite what the video says, he DID drink, but not much, the last tour was a dry one for Nirvana. Krist and Dave had to go to Mudhoney's room to have a beer. No one force-fed Kurt 40 pills and champagne and he knew full well the dangers of mixing drugs and alcohol. Which is why he didn't drink much. It wasn't called a suicide at the time because they wanted to keep it quiet. Too much at stake.

He had a note that was in his writing but it didn't say he was going to commit suicide. At the bottom of the page it was in messy writing(someone else) saying that he was killing himself. The note was obviously tampered with.

The reason why kurt knew it was 400$ and why he didnt spend more was because atm's would only allow a person to withdraw a maxium of 400$ a day. The tour promoters of some shows of Nirvana's European tour recently confirmed KURT WAS TAKING METHADONE during the tour. They were being interviewed for other reasons and the journalist asked them about Nirvana: they said the 92 euro tour was chaotic, but in 94 everything was fine because there was a Dutch doctor giving methadone to Kurt. They also said that everything was so legal a witness was required everytime Kurt took the drug. These guys don't give a shit about Kurt's dead and are rich.

@judyleasugar97 if kurt was on methadone in 94 that means he wasnt sober as you've insisted and if you knew anything about heroin addicts and drugs addicts you'd know that it's very difficult to travel around europe or anywhere overseas when you are addicted to heroin. Kurt could have been on methadone to avoid withdraws and having to score drugs in every stop on the tour. Many addicts go on methadone when they are traveling and resume their drug use when they are back home.

If Kurt was murdered then the number 1 suspect is Courtney Love. Now, if she is guilty then how did she get away with it: 1.) She is incredibly intelligent and manipulative and has fooled the world, and 2.) SPD and Media dropped the ball and did no investigation and just believed what Courtnely Love said.

@TheStarfkr I'm more of the murder mystery type. I don't by all the stories of suicide and Overdoses. I did see something about rock stars who died at age 27. From Jim Morrison to Jimi Hendrix all the way to Cobain.

Pay no attention to the "27 Club" as it's meaningless. There is strong indication that the official explanation simply did not happen. This means that somthing else happened.
