  • package looks beat up

  • Comment removed

  • vracelet a life saver huh :D

  • wire management helps alot lol.

  • have u upgraded ur gpu? a quad core seems like a overkill for a 9800gt

  • omfg. too much coolingpaste man, dude I was hoping your motherboard went to hell cause of that,

  • yukh look at that cpu

  • Holy gobs of thermal paste Batman!!!

  • ant-static wrist bands are a waste of $, all u have 2 do is not wear socks, and touch ur case every time u stand up or sit down or move that may cause static

  • lol true i hate my work mate thinking there all that and saying u need antistatic wrist bands... its fucking waste of money

  • @splice247 I'm building a $1,500 rig on carpet. Saving a measley $5 for a wrist-band isn't worth the risk for me..

  • @splice247 uhh do i have to touch my case even if its painted?

  • @splice247

Well anti-static bands are really cheap, under $5, better safe than sorry.

  • i ordered a graphic card from newegg i choose ups guaranteed 3 day service

and i ordered it sunday does that mean it will be at my house on wendsday?

  • @yurishan1994 no. its three business days,

  • wow looks like u used a whole tube for that . a Pea size is all u need.

  • I used a copper wire tied to a metal vent in the house then tied to the pc case instead of spending 5 bucks on a strap :P

And yeah, too much thermal paste O_o how do you remove the paste to put more on a cpu/fan?

  • The way you handled ur ram made me cringe D:

    Were you even grounded?

  • Way too much thermal paste...

  • very nice knife

  • serial killer!!!!

  • God, get a tripod

  • I thought this was a pretty cool until i saw the elector static discharge bracelet go on ya arm and then i was laughing.

  • Newegg is great. I bought all the parts to perfect my dream PC on Newegg:

It should be finished by next month, I am 30% done building it

CPU: Intel Core i7 Extreme 3.86 GHZ o/c

    RAM: Viper 16 GB Memory

VIDEO: Dual EVGA GeForce 295 GTX 1792MB Core clock

    H.D.: 1 TB RAID 0

Case: CM HAF 932 with LED Lights

    OS: Windows 7 Pre-alpha

    Monitor: 23" Samsung HD Widescreen

  • why does it take you so long? I can build a pc in under 5 hours

  • Because I dont rush. I want to balance it out to make sure at the end of the day that everything is put together. Not just to speed it through and then have a piece of crap with messy wire management

  • 5 hours? that still a very long time. i got my pc parts unboxed and installed in about 15 minutes, and the OS took about 20 minutes to install. about 45 minutes-1hr overall

  • Yeah well 5 hours is from unboxing to the time the operating system is installed. This is with decent cable management and no rushing at all.

  • even with cable management, it shouldn't take more than 2 hours tops

  • sure u did

  • why do intel ppl always waste money on overkill then run on a tiny little 23" or 24" monitor? not trying to be an ass just asking what posses u to spend so much on RAM CPU and GPU then buy a tiny monitor.

  • Becase i have dual monitors. One 23" and the other is a 40" Westinghouse brand

  • 24" are preety big. In order to enjoy bigger monitors, you gotta sit far away from it more farther then a regular table.

  • dude i have a 17inch and thats fine for me my new monitor is 23 inch and thats huge for me soo idk what you prob is with a 23 24 inch small

  • 24" tiny? If you get anything bigger you might as well just run your computer on a tv. I've got a 24" widescreen Acer and it's definitely big enough. I don't think I would want anything bigger for my computer.

The resolution is great (1920x1200) and so is the response time (2ms). It's pretty much perfect for what I'm using it for.

  • hey dues any one think i can get 1066 ram to go in my mobo it dues say on the box can support dual chanel ddr2 1066oc if i put 1066 in will it just downclock it to 800 and then ill have to oc it to the 1066 any help will do :P

  • what CPU are u running lots of boards only support 1066 on specific CPU's usually onyl qaud core or you may need a BIOS flash to get it to read correctly check your manufactures website.

  • He's using a Gigabyte GPA-EP43. It supports 1333FSB. He's fine.

  • That's wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much thermal compound on the processor you pulled out of the Intel LGA 775 socket.

  • Nice i got a 9800 GTX

    Phenom 940 3.0 OC to 3.8

    4gb ram corsair

    sli mobo

  • Good Lawd! That was a ton of thermal paste! Must've had hot temps with that much...

  • the tube come with the processor?

  • no, had to order that separate

  • I got that same ram!

its really good and it looks awesome too!

  • Nice. but should have wore that wristband when opening your new RAM.

  • No it has a heatsink.

  • ram runs better at 800/4-4-4-12,I run my 4gb mushkin at 800/4-3-3-10 2.2volts!!

  • unbozing is soooo much fun, even though you know whats inside! idk why though! Great video, hope you enjoy!

  • can i have your ram(old)

  • Sold it over 4 months ago...

  • I love Newegg but their shipping prices are outrageous, especially when you take into factor that people from Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico get no free shipping on any items. If you live in any of the places above mentioned, it's better to buy from Tiger Direct (CompUSA) in most cases because everything has a $1.99 shipping charge, which is much lower than NewEgg. Another thing I dislike is the fact that they don't take into account the weight of the packaging when they're shipping.

  • cool knife

  • I love opening boxes haha it's so goddamn exciting.

  • mee too lol

  • You could do with some cable management.

  • Is the stock CPU Cooler silent?

  • I don't know I've never used one

  • It's about as noisy as a regular 120mm fan. it's fine.

  • my Radeon 4770 has 40nm

  • the stock fan ant crapy but i am goign to get 9900 Zalman 54 dollors

  • WOW,WAH,AWESOME!

  • damn dude lol I guess take your 775 a bath..nice quad thou thumbs up to newegg

  • Nice! I love vids like this.

  • nice vid & pc

  • well not bad for the 1st time i mean it worked lol =p btw nice system peace!

  • wow your old cpu look liked you just dumped a pile of paste on it and slapped on the heatsink. Take care with the new one.

  • Yeh, I didn't really know how much to apply back when I first put it together, but I did my research this time ;)

  • well he would only need to use the anti static if he's very clingy while walking on a rug. But in other hands it is fine

  • hey dude i heard a rumor that if you install 2 G.Skill Memory Sticks,it gives you the BSOD(Blue Screen Of Death.aka hardware failure)

  • Well I had no problems which is what leads me to believe this may be a false rumor.

  • any bad stick will do that G.skill is solid I have 2 computers with 2 gigs of Gskill 800 in both never had a problem

  • fyi next time don't tuch tha ram without an anti static bracelet. u wouldn't want 2 destroy gskill memory wud yah?

  • come on dude how often do you hear of that happening
