i think this video really touches alot of ppl's hearts. I watched it in school with the whole class nd they said it really touched them....Martin Luther King changed the lives for different races and i respect him for that! It's a bit like John Lennons case...some ppl are just sick...Martin Luther King had a dream and some sick person killed him and shattered every1n's dreams.....god bless
Bono has always said he considered his lyrics to this incomplete, as well as for Bad. In the live versions, he correctly usually says 'late afternoon'.
simply beautiful like king say if you cant fly run if you cant run walk if you cant walk strol but by all mean keep moving i thing we have to keep moving as a nation peace
Martin luther was a legend and i think it was shamefull for people to treat black people different, white people are no better and im white so dont think of course hed say that he probably is black cus im not but i couldnt care less if i was.
Great how John Legend corrected the historical error of the original U2 lyrics...."Late afternoon" instead of "early morning"....that always pissed me off for years.
What a moving tribute to the greatest leaders our country has ever had. We are who we are today because of his life. We can be who we want to be tomorrow because of his legacy.
Bono had been influenced by Stephen B. Oates's book Let The Trumpet Sound: A Life of Martin Luther King, Jr. as well as by a biography of Malcolm X. These caused Bono to ponder the different sides of the civil rights campaigns, but I love the way John sings the song.
I have yet to see this History Channel presentation, but "Citizen King" from PBS is an outstanding place to start. Some King's speeches are available here on YouTube, I recommend "Why I'm Opposed to the War in Vietnam" and "I've been to the mountaintop". Also dig his books like "Why We Can't Wait" and "A Testament of Hope".
This music video is amazing. John Legend's rendition is incredibly powerfull. Can't wait to watch the show on King that History is premiering on Sunday. Hope it's as powerfull as this music video.
excellent...this video touches lives

We could use a man like this in our communities today. Instead of Rev Jesse Jack I know that for sure.

OK, so who else thought it was "one MAN in the name of love", hahaha. Interesting lyrics, now that I finally know all of them.
I love this version and the original!!! Both give me the chills!!!

I usually don't like it when people cover U2's songs, but this one was very well done.
RIP MLK
