I had the AT 1-12 I loved the tone of that amp it was so clean and gave me the best bottom end i could want but it broke down twice and between the repair i could only play it for a week. I let it go for a Bugera 1990 halfstack. I must say i really miss that great metal tone and the bottom end my amp is a marshall clone which means more mids and more treble. I need less treble les middle more BASS B-52 all the way XD

6505 is one of the top heads you can buy for metal, its always been my go to head in my studio, i have one of these as well, it just sits there never gets used.

i honestly can careless about about cleans on amps, i can get good cleans out of pod farm.

gain channel is what is really hard to get sounding perfect, which i think the 5150 or 6505 is the perfect sound in metal. run a ts808 in the chain and your set.

sounds great. i have the same amp, but i dont get good clean tone cuz i have a maple neck thru guitar. glad ur using an ibanez cuz im considering one for my next guitar.

i might swap out some of the 12ax7s with 12at7s to make the clean channel a little cleaner since i only use the gain on like 8 on the drive channels. <-seems like it would work, but im waiting till i retube it

Nice Amp! I'm planning on getting an AT-112 60W. I took a look at your settings, most kids our age (I'm 13), max out the treble or the bass, take away the mids, etc. You have a real nice EQ. On the higher gain channel, you might want to try. Bass: 9, Treble: 8, Mids: 4-7. Some people like their mids scooped a lot, some maybe a little, or not at all.

Yeah this amp sounds pretty good to me, but I have read other reviews and I have heard a lot of people say that is suffers from a lot of technical difficulties relatively soon after purchase. One guy even wrote that he couldn't find a working one at any of the stores he went to in his area in like 150 mile radius. So it's been almost a year since you posted this video so I am just wondering how the amps been holding up? Have you had any problems with it?

If you roll your guitar's volume knob back slightly you can cut down on a lot of the feedback and hiss. Cutting the gain knob down to about 8 on channel 2 also reduces feedback and still provides plenty of distortion.

I have this amp also. Very awesome tone. I remember bringing it home with my other guitarist who has a Peavey XXX combo and us thinking that my tone was way more brutal with this amp. Good times.

I wanted to say a couple things - the first being that I was thinking about buying the 112 version of this amp for a while (although I think the difference is I miss out on the classic rock gain channel, but who cares?) and you've sold me. It sounds great.

Second, your playing is phenomenal. Pure, raw talent. Your tone is great. The rhythm tones sound like modern Exodus, which I think is a great thing.

I own this amp(half stack AT-100 version) and you definitely demonstrated its qualities very well. I don't play metal (lol, why would I buy this then right?) but it's clean channel is what really sold me. It's absolutely a fantastic and LOUD amp.

And I know this is probably gonna sound dumb, but I thought it was cool how you actually tuned your guitar when it went out of tune. I've seen tons of youtubers just continue on out of tune and it's friggin awful.

Ive got this amp. It is as good as everyone says. Ive got it on a 1/2 stack b 52 cab with a mix of celestion speakers and it does sound a tad better than just the 212 by itself.

ohh BTW. if u want to fix that noise at the end - the high pitched goo. its from either end of ur strings vibrating. like where u tune ur guitar and the other end where the strings are 'attatched' either a) put some good old fasion foam or shit under it or b) buy the propper thing that stops the guitar strings from resinating (can't spell it). the propper thing is like a lil rubber clampy thingy. hope it helps lol
