WP7 cannot even sync with office documents. I have to MAIL documents to myself to use them with this WP7 crap phone. hidden wifi network support? no sorry. business ready? not really.. I think I will throw my WP7 and switch back to android!
windows is the best and there is one thing about windows is that you can't compare a windows phone 7 hardware to other windows phone 7 because they are all the same . The only things that are different are screens like super amoled and lcds, internal memory like 16gb and 8gb and hubs like samsung hub or the HTC hub
@whathecabbage Mango update will be on available for free for all existing WP7 phones and it will be built into the new phones so you will get it either way.

WP7 is by far the most beautiful looking OS i have ever used and this is coming from a former Iphone (ios) and Android customer WP7 IS FREAKING AWESOME.
1) They Should Put the Whole Text or Image on one Screen, i Hate Sliding/Swiping the Screen to see WTF is Written ..
2) The Environment : MS Literally Failed to create Both Internal and external environment, internal of MS products and External for Developers.
3) Too Much Closed : This Point is worth Mentioning, i dont want another closed system, neither as irregular and uncontrolled as Android so they should improve there control policy.
Sorry I am using a Android handset and I have lag issues. I have plenty of force closers with app. Also sometimes when I come out of an app I can't scroll as the system can't keep up. This is my 3rd handset and it is always the same. The Google voice software is rubbish and never finds what I'm looking for. I run 2.3 sorry that's just my experience. And I will not being geting another android handset
No WP7 Bing Vision Does fully NOT work worldwide. Beware that many of the Mango features, especially Bing Features are only enabled in the US. You can get some through setting US English Settings ! So Great features if you buy this phone for use in the US.
One day perhaps Microsoft will appreciate that a Worldwide market exists outside of the US. Until then they will continue to see their WP phones fail.
@JulesPUK it doesnt have to cause Nokia is the one that will really be pushing wp7 outside of North America and they are making slight changes to wp7 so that ill work just as well worldwide so wether in North america or worldwide you are in good hands with wp7
Early on Android quickly outgrew the hardware but as of late the hardware is ahead so newer phones don't get laggy... iPhone 3Gs got Lag from the iOS 4 update. WP7 will not allow less than a 1 GHz CPU so that's why they don't have the same issues.
The best thing about this System is the Speed, Windows Phone 7 is Very Fast and the second best thing is the use of IE 9. These two things might be enough to get it back on track but that is really hard to say.
@p3rrypm IE9? a bonus? really? IE is the absolute worst browser on the face of the earth. NO custom ROM support.. no rooting.. a craptastic interface... no support for any of the important business apps except for MS Office crap.. sorry Androids especially the 2 Dual Core phones the EVO3D and the GS2 kick the living crap out of the Iphone and the MS Phone.. look at the market share.. a whopping 1% installed user base last quarter.. Android is at 48%.. in first place.
@CVSiN I don't have issues with Ie 9 and I apprectiat that the browser ua is recognized as a full desktop browser as this is a better surfing experience period.
As for dual core Android, I use one DX2 but for a single core phone wp7 is very fast.

@CVSiN Actually the DX2 is Comparable to the EVO 3D as it is faster in Graphics and slightly slower in regular apps (or was with 2.2.2 and 2.3.3 improved the speed).
IE from normal users made me quite a bit of money and most of it was them running crap that popped up. As for IE 9, apps are catching up with it and it is far from the bottom of the barrel now. Safari and Firefox are actually behind it in security and Chrome is said to be lacking in some areas as well.
@CVSiN Half the ram and still faster 50% of the time... No Front Facing Camera (Never used it when I had it)... Sprint 4G is on par with Verizon 3G and the Camera issues are software related which I'm sure will be resolved.
@p3rrypm Dont know where you get your stats from but they are wrong on every techblog site there is.. the 3D outperforms in everything but games.. and who the hell cares about games on a mobile phone? I need the cameras both front and rear for vid conference.. as well as the business apps which the performance is solidly ahead of the DX2.. wirefly/gizmodo/endagadget and more all put the DX2 at a solid disadvantage. and the GS2 kills them both by a HUGE margin all the way across.
@CVSiN Umm, I get them from the Phone Videos here on Youtube... 3D was about 20% faster on the DX2 and normal apps were about 20% faster on the EVO3D. As for Games, sometimes yes and sometimes no. As for Cameras, personally I have a DSLR and a MBA for Videoconference.
Not arguing here, just stating facts and obviously there is no perfect phone for everyone... The point is, the D2X is like the other Dual Core Phones in that they all perform very well.
@CVSiN Specs don't mean anything. I support Android, but Android phones need high specs for a reason. Android does run a lot more slowly because instead of being compiled and dissembled, it is run in a virtual machine and interpreted, which is painstakingly slow. MS has always stuck to C++ and C# mostly (.NET), and C++ is 20x as fast as Java. I am a n00b in WP7 framework, but I think it is C# GUI. Sun has many talents, but from what I can tell, speed and efficiency are not among them.

I owned HD7 and after 5 months it bricked randomly, when I took a picture with camera. I returned it for warranty and than I broke contract. That phone sucks ass.
I was once MS's biggest supporter, but after being forced by tmobile to take WP7 all that changed. My last phone was winmo 6.5, it was awesome. The fact that this phone needs 500 fixes should tell you something - it wasn't ready for market. research my claims, I can't lie. No support for bluetooth audio for headsets, no support for emailing pdfs, no custom ringtones. And Zune is as useless to me as females were to michael jackson. My bill remains high, my phones features have dropped by 60%.
I have an HD7 (no Mango), the one that never should have gone to market. Looks like the same ugly phone that I'm using now. Will Mango address the issues of poor quality camera? Will I be able to save a pdf on my phone and send it when I need too? How about the issue of "no custom ringtones"? WP7 supports hardware acceleration, so it's able to make great use of its resources. Despite the live tiles, it's easily as smooth as or smoother than iOS. Iphone can make all the updates in the world, the problem is it's interface old dated ,looks like the grandpa of the smartphones when compare to this WP7 interface and the latest android on sansung galaxy s II and in HTC with sense 3
what i like so much about wp7 and why i went with them is because they'll have update after update and will grow and continue to grow. I saw wp7 as a chance to be different from the thing 1 and thing 2 operating systems. Plus it has zune which i adore.

I have used windows phnoe 7 for more than 6 mths now. Awesome interface. I own Android too but WP7 UI is more intuitive and polish. iPhone? It's too over-price. Over hype. And true Apple has many 3rd party apps but most people are just playing games. I am not a mobile phone gamer.
The actual software itself is far superior and a lot more innovative than the iPhone/Android....
However all its hopes of competing as an mainstream OS is shredded down due to lack of Apps and the 'Bad Brand Image That Windows Mobile OS Has Built'!!!

@p3rrypm Dont know where you get your stats from but they are wrong on every techblog site there is.. the 3D outperforms in everything but games.. and who the hell cares about games on a mobile phone? I need the cameras both front and rear for vid conference.. as well as the business apps which the performance is solidly ahead of the DX2.. wirefly/gizmodo/endagadget and more all put the DX2 at a solid disadvantage. and the GS2 kills them both by a HUGE margin all the way across.

@CVSiN Umm, I get them from the Phone Videos here on Youtube... 3D was about 20% faster on the DX2 and normal apps were about 20% faster on the EVO3D. As for Games, sometimes yes and sometimes no. As for Cameras, personally I have a DSLR and a MBA for Videoconference.
Not arguing here, just stating facts and obviously there is no perfect phone for everyone... The point is, the D2X is like the other Dual Core Phones in that they all perform very well.

@CVSiN Specs don't mean anything. I support Android, but Android phones need high specs for a reason. Android does run a lot more slowly because instead of being compiled and dissembled, it is run in a virtual machine and interpreted, which is painstakingly slow. MS has always stuck to C++ and C# mostly (.NET), and C++ is 20x as fast as Java. I am a n00b in WP7 framework, but I think it is C# GUI. Sun has many talents, but from what I can tell, speed and efficiency are not among them.

I was once MS's biggest supporter, but after being forced by tmobile to take WP7 all that changed. My last phone was winmo 6.5, it was awesome. The fact that this phone needs 500 fixes should tell you something - it wasn't ready for market. research my claims, I can't lie. No support for bluetooth audio for headsets, no support for emailing pdfs, no custom ringtones. And Zune is as useless to me as females were to michael jackson. My bill remains high, my phones features have dropped by 60%.

I have an HD7 (no Mango), the one that never should have gone to market. Looks like the same ugly phone that I'm using now. Will Mango address the issues of poor quality camera? Will I be able to save a pdf on my phone and send it when I need too? How about the issue of "no custom ringtones"? Will I be able to create my own folders and store whatever the hell I want to in them?? It's my phone after all. Flash video? Great phone if I were just starting to grow boobies and had a crush Beiber.

My attack on the phone is purely for revenge since I got stuck with the useless crap and had to buy another phone that could do all a phone should do in 2011. It should not have been pushed on the public until it was ready. In my work, I need to send files to clients. All you can send with WP7 is pics, vids, and MS office docs. WP7 supports hardware acceleration, so it's able to make great use of its resources. Despite the live tiles, it's easily as smooth as or smoother than iOS. WP7 devices have single-core Snapdragon processors, but the fluidity in the UI makes Android superphones look clumsy. Of course, Android runs live widgets and whatnot, so it's doing more work. People find things to complain about with WP7 but it's accepted by fanboys and critics alike that it's a very fluid experience.

I have used windows phnoe 7 for more than 6 mths now. Awesome interface. I own Android too but WP7 UI is more intuitive and polish. iPhone? It's too over-price. Over hype. And true Apple has many 3rd party apps but most people are just playing games. I am not a mobile phone gamer.
