Hey its Cameons mom again. His beak was bit off by another bird and is growing back. It WAS NOT done on purpose. He doesn't even notice it is gone anymore and it does not affect his quality of life. He eats, chews, and bites same as any other bird!

@AntitaLarue It's possible that Cameron's top bill/mandible/whatever broken off when stuck in something, or beak rot infection...I've seen it on a few birds...a canary somehow broke off it;s upper mandible right up to the "nose" and was lucky enough to have a false beak made.

@articuno718 I am not affiliated with the person who posted this video at all, but it looks like a beak deformity. I worked at a waterfowl park that hatched a goose that looked normal upon birth, but as it matured, its upper beak stopped growing while the bottom continued to grow. Surprisingly, it didn't seem to affect the goose at all, though he does look quite goofy and sometimes struggles holding food in its beak.
