Hey owlwink. Do you know if there are different systems or programs that you can add to the emx via smartmedia? I think I heard that there are 3 systems that you can add to the emx but am not sure.
i heard there is one for the esx,an update via smartmedia...but it contains all the factory presets..like all the drums and stuff, you know.because on the esx it is possible to delete the default drums and other sounds! eek! thats why there is a download for the esx(supposedly)
as for the emx.....im still investigating.if you do find something, please let me know! :)
Alrighty will do! Yeah I don't think I'm gonna buy a smartmedia card anytime soon. I'm happy with the preset drums and synth sounds on it right now. Plus, on top of those sounds are plenty of effects to keep me happy for the time being!
i found a link on the official korg website for an update for the EMX(however the update is simply to fix two minor bugs which can be found on the emx,one bug is called "knob jitter" and the other bug was the fact that one cannot move two fx knobs and "cut off" at the same time of some weird shit like that ....stuff that doesnt really matter,or even bother me to be honest!) you said "3 systems" for the emx,i heard this is untrue! so im sticking to my emx the way it is,its fine for me.
oh ok. yeah those are pretty much worthless bug fixes. i was expecting there to be like a whole other system u can add 2 it. but yeah mine works how i want it to. thanks man
i know, its crazy some of the sounds...ive been watching some of the emx vids guys put up,and im only STARTING to figure out the possibilities and oscillations that are available on the emx.
also, what is the name of the synth you solo with Spiraltone? it sounds really cool.

do you use the kp3 as a sampler?

it is very difficult to make something like this. It's not difficult to use the machine, but to be this creative! nice one

There is no preset pattern like that on the EMX people. Anyway I can't wait to do this kind of stuff with my MX and soon to be owned KP3. Awesome!
